And the father has lifethreatening injuries. Were still waiting to get update on his condition at this hour. But police say the mom was not injured. Now this crash happened one block from oracle park at 5. 15. Thats about an hour and a half before the game started as youve probably seen. But in this area before crowds really pick up at that time, this is where the caltrain station is. Weve got muni and all the crowds start walking into the park. But this whole intersection has been shut down since that time Police Crime Scene techs have been gathering evidence ever since. Theres a lot of Traffic Cameras in this intersection. So im sure police are going over that video and theyre gathering all the evidence they can to figure out what happened until that all occurs. They were not able to say what led up to this crash. If the driver made an illegal turn, we really dont have any answers as to what unfolded for the little girl and her father were hit. But they did say the driver stayed on scene. Driver is cooperating. Police say drugs and alcohol do not appear to be involved at this time. Patrols are out here. Muni was quickly on scene since the game causes. A lot of crowds.
