Yeah, weve got the cooler weather and then the warmup ahead of us. That is definitely going to be a quick change of pace. For a lot of areas that yesterday felt pretty good this weekend. You might want to reconsider spending too much time outside for inland areas where temperatures will be soaring, even hotter. Now, today is nice and clear at Half Moon Bay coastline right here. You do have the cloud cover overhead. But fog is something that is being seen mostly right above that coastline. Right now, we do have some coastal drizzle. Some missed because of the density this fog. So do watch out for that as youre heading into work this morning. That is going to be something that contributes to a few wet spots out there, especially in our mountain sides and along the coast 50s low 60s for current temperatures. While berkeley and San Francisco as well as petaluma up to santa rosa each at 57 throughout the course of the day today, temperatures will rise to similar heights to that they did yesterday. A federal grand jury has once again indicted former President Donald Trump on 4 counts related to the january 6th riot and attack on the u. S. Capitol. It was fueled by lies. Lies by the defendant. The indictment states that trump had 6 coconspirators assist him in his criminal efforts to overturn the election and retain power, though they were not named and havent been charged. U. S. Attorney general Merrick Garland price, the special counsel and the Justice Department employees who have investigated this case and stressed its importance in reaction trumps former Vice President mike pence said that anyone who puts himself over the constitution should never be president of the united states. But trump is pushing back against the charges and slammed the Justice Department on social media claiming this latest indictment is politically motivated and an attempt to stop his reelection bid. And in that indictment, prosecutors say that trump knew he had lost the twentytwenty election but still continued to spread lies and misinformation. Trump was first indicted in new york in march on state charges stemming from hush money payments made during the 2016 president ial campaign. Prosecutors accused him of pain off adult film star lsbarry allegations of extramarital encounters. Trump pleaded not guilty to 34 felony counts of falsifying business records. He said to appear court in december the 2 months before republicans begin their nominating process. Then in june, special counsel jack smith charge trump in a federal case in florida. Trump has pleaded not guilty to 40 felony count, including charges of retaining classified information struck in justice and making false statements. A federal judge has scheduled a trial in this case for next may. Meanwhile, the District Attorney georgia has been investigating whether trump and his allies legally metal in the 2020 election. There she has signaled that any indictments in that case will likely come this month. And as we move into the weekend, it will contribute temperatures rising back into the triple digits for inland areas while we will continue to see that cooler jean breeze near the coastline, keeping temperatures out that way only in the 60s. So quite the variety of temperatures around the corner this weekend, some of us stay cool. Some of us are going to be right back to that heat. It will be 60s for San Francisco and at the coastline today. Well, looking at a lot of 70s to 80s elsewhere. Thats about as warm as its getting even a little cooler than yesterday for a lot over bay area cities. So we certainly are catching a break from that heat for a lot of those inland spots. San jose in pleasanton only at 76 degrees today from union city. Oakland, up to richmond, its only 60s. Well conquered, barely making 80 degrees at our very warmest just some mid 80s for our for this inland spots. Tomorrow will be our last of our cooler below normal days. Expect more partly cloudy skies as we move through today and tomorrow will warm things up on into friday and it sets us up for that scorcher of a saturday and sunday.
