And as we get closer to developing a vaccine. We now know that ucsf has been chosen as one of 7 early vaccine, Distribution Sites across california. So ucsf is monitoring the progress of a covid19 vaccine after pfizer announced that their vaccine was found to be 95 effective early distribution of that Pfizer Vaccine ucsf is planned to start next month. Frontline Health Care Workers who are treating covid19 patients and highrisk groups will be prioritized so theyll be put towards the front of the line vaccines for the general public are expected to roll out sometime in the spring of next year. Is it testing rush ahead of the holidays, take a look at the line of cars and people that are going to get tested in San Francisco along the embarcadero appointments there are booked up through december 2nd in such high demand that the city actually is now asking you not to go unless you central like are essential worker or youve been exposed to somebody who has covid because they dont want regular people who are just wanting to get tested ahead of the holiday traveling or thanksgiving to clog it up supervisor matt haney says these sites are essential for workers to be able to get to without being backed up. The second thing you can do is theres another option which is to get a home testing kit. In the east bay Contra Costa County now reporting more than a 100 complaints related to covid19 Health Order Violations in the past 10 days and thats partly why. The county now has been moved back into the purple tier, one of the most restrictive. Well the most restrictive when it comes to reopening with that roll back the countys covid19 task force is now focusing stricter on enforcement.
