This follows the news we learned around 5 oclock this morning that biden taking control of georgia but only with a very small difference of more than 1000 votes to his name now when youre looking at it from the Bigger Picture<\/a> both the president and the former Vice President<\/a> had a very different ways of looking at these changing polls that been going on. But theres been a lot of shenanigans and we cant stand for that in our country President Donald Trump<\/a> of the election process in question claiming democrats told votes if you count the legal votes. I easily win. If you count the illegal votes. They can try to steal. The election from us this accusation comes after the country saw a major shift some votes in some battleground states such as pennsylvania georgia and nevada. Former Vice President<\/a> joe biden says the voting process should be respected it is the will of the voters. No one not anything else to choose is the president United States<\/a> America Biden<\/a> did not try to claim victory but asked his supporters to be patient. We have no doutt when the count is finished senator harris and i will be declared the winners. I ask everyone to stay calm all the people to stay calm the Trump Campaign<\/a> challenge the election process in states like georgia and michigan but judges have already dismissed them. Were now waiting for more results to come down and we could hear more updated numbers of both georgia and pennsylvania later today. But dont get your hopes up for a winner to be declared because theres still the possibility for a recount to be considered. But for right now on diesel john reporting live from washington. All right, thank you basil you almost certainly will be recounts at least requested by President Trump<\/a> he made that clear during his press conference last night in his base will said we are looking for more updated numbers to come in shortly as a matter of fact down in georgia. Officials with the secretary of States Office<\/a> are expected to hold a press conference with an update. Any moment now we have our cameras there well bring that to you as it happens. But this is one of those races where it is razor thin in fact as we take a quick look. Its only by about a 1000 votes basal said that separates trump from biden with biden in the league could that change very well could i mean theres still plenty more votes to count. In that part of the country. Its just that the trend line has been consistently adding the majority of these new votes that have been counted to joe biden fact i think that press conference is now underway in georgia us if we can take that live as of 10 00am. Were a little under 5500 votes left to be counted in gwinnett. Cherokee and cobb county. In addition there are 8,890 military ballots outstanding that will be counted if they were returned by the close of business today. Right now george remains too close to call. Approximately 5 million votes cast. Well have a margin of a few 1000. The focus for our for the county Election Officials<\/a> for now remains on making sure that every legal vote is counted and recorded accurately. As were closing in on a final count. We can begin to look what our next steps. With a margin that small. There will be a recount in georgia. Interest in our election obviously goes far beyond georgias borders. The final tally in georgia. At this point has huge implications for the entire country. The stakes are high. And emotions are high. And all sites. We will not let those debates distract us from our work. Well get it right. And will defend the integrity of our elections. In some states. There are complaints about monitors not being allowed to watch the counts. In georgia this process is and will remain open and transparent to monitors. If any member of the public raises legitimate concerns well investigate those were committed to doing anything and everything to maintaining trust in our elections process for every georgian regardless of partisan preference. Well go over the details again and where we stand on the vote counts there have been some changes overnight and even changes from the time we walk from the front door of the office to the front of the cameras today, im Gabriel Sterling<\/a> statewide vote an indication manager. Good to see a body here this morning as we close in on a final tally. Secretary Just Announced<\/a> a take a set of numbers that actually went down to the time he walked from the door here. So our new total, we are aware of right now is 4,169. And they are handful of counties like over this and Cherokee County<\/a> there are a 150 ballots that they. Did not upload said the risk and are putting this today. There 75 now in cobb. Theres 444 in floyd. Approximately 3501 that as we went to the reconciliation process of what they had already reported first what they had left a new lease can. And i think thats its a couple of things Lawrence County<\/a> the 1769 votes. We yesterday were basing those on the absentee ballot differences and when they went and did the reconciliation process on it. They discovered that they had accidentally uploaded those into their election day totals their totals will not change. But the book title will change when they make that change today. So outside of that we dont have any other numbers that were aware of but again i want to remind everybody. We have ballot curing processes through today for absentee verification process for provisional ballots and we can still get any military or your column ballot and by close of business today. They were postmarked on tuesday election day. So there are still an unknowable and out of balance that will be available to be counted at some points there in the hands of Elections Officials<\/a> now other than maybe the military knew a common ones and i can assure you that there are teams of 20 somethings around the state who are republicans and democrats finding those people with those absentee ballots secure and theyre going to the process in county by county in ones and twos and just a preemptive question is going to come up. Youre seeing any widespread fraud say anything that makes us question the outcome of the election were not seeing widespread irregularities were not seeing anything widespread. We are investigating any accusation with any real evidence behind it. Let me tell you one thing when you have a narrow margin. A little small things can make a difference. So everything had to be investigated to protect the integrity of the vote. Our office intends to do that and like i said, you know wide margin doesnt matter as much narrow margin. It does were literally looking at margin of less than you know a large high school. So we understand that the state county officials are aware of that our investigators are aware of that. So its an important thing to protect the integrity of this election from all sides without question have to with the timeline we have laid essentially we have got the timeline again so we should be able to buy the november because remember we have a mid december deadline receive electors are and again youre watching images coming from this press conference in georgia where we saw the secretary of state and now the Elections Officials<\/a> there saying theres about 4 to 5,000 ballots left to count. And then they still have to wait for military and overseas Service Personnel<\/a> ballots to come in they sent them out to all of them about 8,000 or so they dont know how many will come back all dependent on each of the voters out there to mail them back, but he says whenever they do come in, however many they are will count them at that and then it would be surprising then that the Trump Campaign<\/a> is saying things like stopped the vote count when you know military votes. Have yet to come in one thing that the president was really banking on yeah and we just heard from the secretary state georgia saying because the margin is so thin. They will automatically conduct a recount just to validate and verify the numbers that were seeing come out this morning, so. Again you heard him reiterate that there are no shenanigans as it as its been theyve did theyre going to fare and factual vote count and that will take some time but theyre going to get the final number. The yes votes are in the lead to 51 and the no votes are at 49 all right, lets move on to the next one we have proposition 15 lets see where that stands. Well this proposition could actually change how commercial properties are tax based on current market value rather than the purchase price.
