Expect still ahead. Robin. All right, thank you. John yes, well get to the fog in just a bit but we do have a trouble spot to talk about in oakland, its a car fire that slowing down traffic a little bit we actually have some video coming up from the citizens at the shows us exactly whats happening there check this out you can see fire crews have made it out to the scene and it looks like an xfinity van that was involved in an accident there and caught fire so emergency crews are still blocking this is right along hagan burger next to the nimitz freeway so this is not on the nimitz but its the offramp so theyre requesting Traffic Control theyre shutting down the hagan burger offramp to the south only as they deal with that accident and vehicle fire so its going to be a little slow you may want to dump off before or after hagan burger, if thats your normal exit. Now the northbound side the ramp is open. But its a visual distraction and we have some commute traffic there as well to north that slows from to 38 in san leandro all the way up to hagan burger but only 15 minutes to downtown open. Thats not bad at all. The fog karl is in the way this morning, the bay bridge, the golden gate, the car keen as all under dense fog advisories from chp so headlights and wipers will be needed. The slowing its normal its slow from west grand only 12 minutes into San Francisco darya james. Thanks a lot robin in the south bay under new state guidelines Santa Clara County says that kids can return to the classrooms. But san joses the School District says not so fast no they want to hold off just a bit kron 4 Sarah Stinson live in san jose to explain. Why good morning sara. Good morning. The superintendent says while Santa Clara County is moving forward in a good way into tier 2 with the states. Codes tear system she says that they say it is time to reflect on san joses number she says those numbers are continuing to go up and theyre not comfortable Going Forward with in person classes and the best thing to do is what theyre saying is to be consistent for not only parents and students but also the staff so consistently. No ones going back to the classrooms here in san jose in this district until december. Probably until january christmas and all that, but theyre going to tell you in december had back which will probably be next semester if all goes well though supernanny also says cases continue to rise there just not comfortable, but they did say they put out a survey to parents staff and students and it showed people wanted a consistent plan throughout the semester whether that be consistently going back to classroom or consistently during distancelearning well turns out Distance Learning is the route that theyre going to take now while in Person Learning is the very best type of learning they said they will revert back to that one and is known to be safer and that will likely be 2021 it all depends on case numbers and accessibility to Rapid Testing which they say has gotten a lot better here in san jose. So they will be continuing to monitor that as well as state guidelines because this counties and clare county and all the counties in tier 2 have to be in it consistently to stay in it and to allow those schools go back to school in person and you know locking changes weve seen before so they decided were going to stick with Distance Learning. They will announce early december what the plan is for next semester. I have reached out to the district to see if we can do an interview just get a little bit more details havent heard back quite yet. For now live in san jose Sarah Stinson kron 4 news okay. Thank you sir, and Santa Clara County Health Officials announced a new enhanced testing order so that its easier for people to get tested and get covered by insurance. As an essential worker this new order expands the definition of essential workers to extend not just a health professionals, but to people who are working as teachers are in Grocery Stores and that type of it also will ensure that they get tested quicker and get the results back sooner. We are grateful that the county has announced an order that is going to demolish the labyrinth that too many of our residents have found themselves when theyre trying to find their way to get to testing. County Officials Say its also mandatory so there are violations that will come with fines and other penalties. President trump. Claims that a vaccine is the key to getting out of this pandemic and yes that is a major component, but the cdc says that until we get a vaccine to the population, its more important people now where masks across the board. An Infectious Disease expert at ucsf agrees with the cdc kron fours gayle ong reports on that. The Berkeley City Council members approved the mask fine after seeing an increase of covid19 cases in july and august this as the cdc director stresses the importance of wearing a mask and this face mask. Is more guaranteed to protect me against covid then when i take a covid vaccine. Wednesday cdc director doctor Robert Redfield says a covid19 vaccine would not be available for another 9 to 12 months ucsf Infectious Disease doctor Monica Gandhi agrees number one is to take a while for the vaccine and number 2 were to see the vaccine is but we know these protected doctor gandhi studied maskwearing early on looking at data from japans diamond princess cruise ship where more than 700 people on board came down with covid19. Before maskwearing was suggested so were actually populating the mass school. Multiple components of the response one is transmission and made by reducing the amount of cars that get you get in it may reduce the severity and to seize tuesday night the city of berkeley approved an ordinance to fine people not wearing a mask in public or focus is not on criminalizing people its making sure people get the right track is obviously been shown to be one of most effective way to stop this road and season its a very cheap and easy way to save a life district 4 Council Member Kate Harrison says city workers will be keeping an eye on large gatherings of 12 or more at parks parties and student events we had cal students come back about 3 weeks ago and at present the 190 students have been found positive. And i dont want them to spread their fellow students, their parents and grandparents and neighbors and certainly not the rest of our community other bay area counties like santa clara napa and marine have already approved similar measures maskwearing is already required in berkeley. Now a 100 fine used as enother tool to prevent the spread of covid19 the money gathered from fines will buy mass for low income people in berkeley gayle ong kron 4 news. Well this morning President Trump is contradicting the statement by the cdc director Robert Redfield that you just saw there in the last story that masks are more effective in vaccines. Take a listen. I mean everyone is not more effective by any means that a vaccine and i called him about that those with the 2 things i take skus with it. And i believe that if you ask him. He would. Probably say that he didnt understand the question. So redfield also said the vaccines again wont be ready and available to the public until the middle to latter half of next year the president also disputes that claim saying the vaccines will be ready to go in a couple of months at the latest, however, the vast majority of medical experts. I dont understand where that numbers coming from. It is the time as the flu season looms and east bay doctor now suggesting people who come in for a vaccine for the flu also get tested for coronavirus doctor front says that its possible to suffer from both since they both share many of the same symptoms and so hes working now to acquire more covid tests in flu vaccine so that when a person does come into their clinics, hell be able to test them book for both of them at the same time. Were trying to prepare this is you know this is a long haul where where were going to be in all to the winner. So were trying preparer sites to be able to be indoors when the weather required to. People at higher risk are 65 and older as we know and also people who smoke or have Underlying Health conditions like diabetes and heart disease. Asthma or weakened immune system. Flu activity usually begins to increase in late november or early december. Halloween is pretty close cant believe that fall is next week and its going to be different this year for sure if the kids go trick or treating at all. In Contra Costa County Health Officials say that the traditional trick or treating, isnt a good idea. And neither are haunted houses or big parties they are that. The traditional trick or is a kind of risky during the covid youve got small children gathered together in front porches and front front touching on high touch surfaces like door knobs and door bells. Candy candy jars. And so that all those type of activities pose a risk for covid. County Health Officials say that its not like youre going to get a fine for trick or treating because theres no local or state ban but they are still discouraging everybody from doing that. I will take a break it is 8. 10 still ahead on the kron 4 morning news, San Francisco city officials would crack down on illegal sideshows they have a few actions are putting into place to try to keep everybody safe. It just looks sunnier clear i maybe its because the fog the smoky fog has lifted. Yeah, ive got a lot this so much cleaner you can actually breathe in this fog this morning and its actually a pretty thin veil of it so its thick where you are seeing it. But if you are looking up youre probably making out some blue because we actually do have some of the tops of our hillsides in the bay area. Picking up right through mount tam in the distance there and even some of the lower hills right above the fog this morning so you dont have to go very high to be above that fog you wear that is causing some of our bridges, some problems as for air quality indeed it is the cleanest fog weve seen in weeks now we are looking at good air quality all across the board you have to head out into the Central Valley, the Eastern Central valley at that before you start to have any sort of air quality impacts skies will be dry today. Sure weve seen some drizzle especially near the coastline. This morning. No active rainfall thats up in the Pacific Northwest right now definitely helping with wildfire situations towards oregon. And even right along the very Northern Edge of california. As this cold front sweeps through our direction were too far south to be seeing any rainfall from it could see a couple of sprinkles north of ukiah into early tomorrow morning. Right along the have humble coast, but bay area will be getting some wind and just a modest cool down come tomorrow and saturday from this advancing cooler air. Winds are calm right now, but we will be seeing wind speeds picking up later on today, a nice cool breeze pushing in even into the Central Valley into the evening tonight makes for what will be a nice clear and cool day to start the weekend tomorrow. As for todays daytime highs back up to the 60s and 70s right along the coastline pacific at 65 today, well 70s in Burlingame Millbrae on up to brisbane further south on the peninsula and you start to see some 80s woodside down into the south bay, Fort Campbell in cupertino while san jose you fall back down to 79 for the high today, east bay daytime highs 70s to a tease for you as well with san leandro at 76. Concord while the creek and dan 8670s 80s for the north bay again no 90s in your 4 zone forecast. I dont think any of us are so sad about that. Tomorrow and saturday even less potential for 90s is daytime High School Even further that changes into sunday and monday for your last 2 days of summer will be ending the season on a warmer know with offshore winds not just warmer conditions, but also the potential of haze towards the latter part of the weekend. Tuesday will cool back down just a few degrees to kick off all robin. Thank you john were checking in on the traffic and we do have some slowing through oakland on the nimitz because of a problem at the hagan burger offramp from 80 south we actually have video from the citizen app that shows us whats going on check this out this is a crash at the hagan burger offramp from south 8. 80 you see that xfinity van involved there it was on fire. The driver was trapped inside so they have the overcrossing block the hagan burger offramp from 80 south is closed and you see how it stacking up traffic a little bit in both directions once again its not on the freeway, its up to all 04 00am but if youre on the nimitz freeway this morning if you have to take it. He will not be able to exit at hagan burger on the southbound side you need to dump off at 66 or maybe 98 instead on the northbound side a little bit of slowing through the same but its not bad northbound is actually the commute direction, and its only 13 minutes from san leandro to downtown oakland foggy on our bridges but the delay at the toll plaza here at the bay bridge. Its Getting Better. We consider this pretty minor 16 minutes after fremont street. There is a new crash 80 west at the fremont street exit excuse me not a crash but a stall is blocking the right lane so its crawling from Treasure Island up to the scene and thats also yes still some slow traffic into San Francisco, but its slowly improving tara back to you. In the buzz College Football just got a whole lot better the big 10 is giving their fans what they want they get to play. But what about the rest of us. The pac 12 is still sitting on the bench. But governor newsome called inaudible. Theres nothing in the state guidelines. That denies the pact well from having Conference Games theres nothing in our guidelines. The state put out the denies these from occurring we put out very i thought thoughtful guidelines and gain partnership with the nc about cohorting during workouts and practices. That means the cal and stanford could be next as long as they have a game plan that meets local covid Safety Standards now the pac 10 is letting the buckeyes play every notable pre season playoff contender except oregon will now be part of the postseason chase and you heard the governor mention the nc double a they voted to start the basketball season. On november 25th n they also voted to give all the players and coaches the day off to vote. Every year from now on. The dodgers are the first team to clinch a playoff spot. No huge celebration after yesterdays game not only because of covid but also because it caught the players by surprise. They say they were so busy polishing off the padres they didnt realize what the win meant. We should told him but the giants are getting their to San Francisco sitting at 500 on the season after beating the mariners yesterday, their magic number is 11 the as need 5 more wins to clinch the a l west, they beat the rockies yesterday and returned to oakland to host the giants on friday. For another battle of the bay, the banged up 49 ers are without star cornerback Richard Sherman hes expected to miss at least 3 games after straining his calf. In sundays loss to arizona and that came also took a toll on tight end George Kittle he sprained his knee so hes missing a full practice this week but san frans shanahan says that they still are hoping that kill could play the jets on sunday. Tiger woods is hoping on sunday, hell get to put on his red and black because that would mean that he made it to the final round of the u. S. Open. Right now he is on the course in new york as we speak teed off around 05 00am our time and he is saying now at one under par 3 strokes behind the leader and the higher tiger gets on the leaderboard the more the tv ratings go up if you actually wins it. It will be his 83rd pga victory the most of were back in a 22 San Francisco is proposing new actions to crack down on illegal sideshows and implement harsher penalties for those who are participating. This comes in the wake of recent shootings where a mans body was found there sideshow in San Francisco. Rapper says he can do has details on the legislation. The piece of legislation that would increase the ability in San Francisco and the time to impound vehicles and you can we can prove that youre behind the wheel. You will be arrested, we understand that people want to do this, but they are dangerous and this is no fun if someone is killed. San Francisco City leaders are proposing new action to crack down on illegal sideshows supervisor asha south but he says the new legislation not only goes after the driver is putting them behind bars in impounding their vehicles up to 30 days, it also goes after sideshow facilitators people that also. Set the perimeter. The people that use their vehicles to set up these events and in criminal terms called aiding and abetting. Those 2. Well have their vehicle seized. San Francisco Police chief bill scott says a special sideshow unit has been for 15 new surveillance cameras will also be installed to help investigators catch sideshow drivers and participants for this to work effectively. Is we have to be able to put the driver behind the wheel. Then we can do something with that case increasing the penalties for participating in the illegal stunt driving events comes after labor day is deadly shooting in the citys excelsior district. Its dangerous for the participants is dangerous for the spectators is dangerous for all the folks who are within range of this particular event in San Francisco Haaziq Madyun kron 4 news. An Investigation Continues into an overnight crash that sent a child and 2 adults to the hospital in critical in 27 right now and im starting to see the sunshine little bit and then robin nahas yeah, its pretty card im sorry had a couple people talking to be paid by the cartoonist the bay bridge and the golden gate all socked in fog this morning so be careful driving out there. Its not fun. Now you you mister da recalled you ran something, mister bloom over their job, standing about guys is to re that fog is dense at sfo just look at this. Cant even see that are back in the distance a got better for second cut worst of all over again. Its a very thin layer of fog at least it settled right down into the bay, so if youre looking up you might actually make out some blue right above you but as youre driving through it do slow down a bit i know robins been talking about multiple bridges that are under fog advisories by the time we work towards noon sunshine returns. It will be looking at a really nice day to get out there, especially considering air quality will again be very nice with good conditions all across the bay. Temperatures are pretty mild for a foggy morning like we are seeing were in the 60s for most of the bay alameda at 62 oakland at 66 a few 50s up in the north bay like an timber on santa rosa and petaluma robin. All right, thank you john, lets head over to a fog the Golden Gate Bridge weve been talking about this throughout the morning we still can make out that hours so just be extra cautious heading across the span the headlights and wipers may be needed 20 minutes, so a great drive time nevado to the toll plaza here in the bay bridge a dense fog advisory remains in place but the delay at the toll plaza. Its Getting Better, its not so bad 16 minutes to make it in and it looks like crews just cleared the stall that was blocking at fremont street that didnt help so little slow from Treasure Island to the fremont street exit remember we have a crash in car fire wrapping up in oakland, the hagan burger offramp from 80 south still close a little slow in both directions started james back to you all right, thank you 29 and the breaking news weve been following is a crash 3 people including a 2 yearold child were hurt. They were in Critical Condition after this crash that happened and all recovering at the hospital across a heart defect. Out for us live in front of John Muir Medical Center there walnut creek with an update on the story right now. Yeah, you know this crash was so bad they actually had to use the jaws of life to get everybody out of that vehicle. I hear what john summer this is where 2 of the adult victims or that child just 2 years old like you mentioned the airlift to Childrens Hospital in oakland were going to show you the addresses his word happen if youre out in antioch in familiar with this area you see on your map. This is near highway 4, 1, 16 now the car was traveling northbound on lone tree way in antioch passing right in front of that in shape here thats when witnesses saw the crash happen. Many people call the Police Department reporting and that a car and smashed in and went directly into a tree you can see the car were going to show you want to warn you guys its really graphic as youre looking at your screen you see the car the entire front of the car smashed you have the side mirror as well as the door thats been ripped from off of that car as well. Now again officials are still actively investigating this reached out to the and Police Department theyre taking the lead on this investigation and theyre still looking into what may have caused the crash. They dont know if the driver and one of the car an emergency hearing technical glitches with the car. Theyre still investigating to see if there were any substances involved in this as the day goes on and continue the investigation will be giving you an update but still just very awful and these images dont make that any better ill send it back to you both in the studio for now. Thanks a lot lorraine a. Well now to the latest on the wildfires that are still burning as we know 25 people have died here in california from all those wildfires more than 3. 4 million acres has burned so far that according to gavin the governor with the latest update. Yesterday its destroyed more than 4,000 structures as well and 30,000 people plus are still under some form of the Evacuation Order so they cant go home and assess the damage theres better news for the bay area specifically when it comes to the wildfires. We have most of them near full containment. A prime example, the lnu complex fires and the scu complex fires burning in the northeast and south bays all of those now 98 contained the czu complex fires in san mateo and santa cruz counties now 95 contained. Your full containment of the ccu fires is expected on sunday they have destroyed the 925 homes and san mateo and santa cruz counties, including the marquee guards, ranch land altogether they had nearly a 1000 head of cattle grazing on lands, they lease and marine sonoma and san mateo counties plus they were building a family home and that also went up in flames. I mean there was Little Fires Everywhere in the beginning that soon became big fires, this was years and years of of being able to. Work build a house for our family. In case something happened in case one day we were unable to ran shore when our kids took over and now its all gone and we really how theirs. Theres i dont know what were going to do. And to make matters worse. She says that they were had recently dropped by their fire insurance. Fires in oregons spread so fast in isolated Rural Communities that a lot of a scape of routes were cut off a scary situation. Firefighters had no time to waste as they work to guide hundreds of people to safety weve got Jacqueline Abad with the story. Never really be ahead of what Mother Nature is going to firefighters with the identity troy Fire District were keeping a close eye on the lines had fire in the east and beatty creek fire in the west. But the fires move quickly so they had to think fast and get ahead at one point he said just evacuate with the help from the Forest Service and the Marion County sheriffs office. They started evacuating people from the brian bush adana and detroit areas in the middle of the night so we knew that our again our address their way out. Was being compromised every every minute that went by firefighters cut trees to clear the roadways to get people out we got the town out everyone really stood up you know i was reflecting the other day with chief ewing. At least in our little or no shop our volunteer again volunteer firefighters. Each one of them at one point had a direct interaction with someone in the community that saved their lives. After crews got many people out they started focusing on structure protection. But then those who didnt get the message started showing up at the fire station. Firefighters brought them to the mongol day use area before they were care of and out this video was taken after people were evacuated from detroit damon and his team are now focused on rebuilding. And recovery. The way folks it up. The pier persevered and show their resiliency. Im very confident we can rebuild. Well that was Jacqueline Abad reporting nearly a million acres of land in oregon have been burned so far by the dozens of fires that theyre fighting right now. 35 and still ahead on the kron 00 04am morning news. A police union in the bay area a person Workers Union is looking for reforms as one city seeing a spike in murders mostly involving African Americans well explain after the break. And the mayor of san jose speaking out against the citys decision to allow police to use rubber bullets, why he says theyre a lethal weapon. Plus coming up Law Enforcement agencies in the east bay are cracking down on illegal fireworks and bonfires. And believe it not after this foggy morning. We have plenty of sunshine to look forward to later today and temperatures not all that bad 70s and san jose oakland and San Francisco. Your forecast is ahead. And the morning commute is slowly improving the traffic is Getting Better but karl the fog from out not so much its pretty dense here on the bay bridge, the golden gate and the hurricane is so be careful out there ill and were back at 8. 38 in the east bay Law Enforcement agencies are increasing patrols to trying to turn nighttime gatherings in the berkeley hills. Now this comes as a number of illegal fireworks and bonfires have been reported along grizzly peak boulevard. The oakland berkeley, u c berkeley and kensington Police Department of all committed now to adding additional patrols in the area indefinitely east bay police and fire wouldnt take much to repeat what we saw back in 1991 when that fire storm killed 25 people and destroyed thousands of homes in the oakland hills. This is a problem that we face on a daytoday basis. We have serious risk in terms of wildfire and wildfire season is not a couple months that like it used to be its at least half the year now. Signage has been posted at the 9 turnouts reminding the public of course that the area is off limits between 9 oclock at night and 6 in the morning. Well heres a quick live look outside weve got our camera on the market there at San Francisco and boy you can certainly see that fog. And low overhead. But there is a little bit of sunshine beginning to work its way through well get another update from john a in 42 and the remnants of Hurricane Sally are now moving north from the gulf coast and leaving behind a wake a flooding and destruction of florida and alabama sally hit the gulf coast yesterday morning as a category 2 105 Miles Per Hour rain in the feet not in the inches and hundreds of people had to be rescued more than a half a million homes and businesses are without power. Moving so slow. It was just 3 the french side that i was 3 hours just. Screaming and we can hear krajic everywhere staff meeting the house is pretty terrifying. So far the death toll, one person in alabama has died and there was another person there whos missing. All right. Well, lets get to our weather obviously nothing as severe. Here we just have a little bit of fog and some smoke to get through, but actually smoked out that bad john yeah weve seen improvements thankfully because we had those you know multiple weeks of very very smoky conditions will take the foggy day above that in fact not a whole lot of fog lingering for the north bay, its really starting to burn off up in the Marin Headlands but you are looking at it over your bridges and i know thats been causing some issues some of our hill top spearing through what is actually a relatively thin but pretty dense marine layer once youre down in that as far as air quality goes. Yeah, were looking a whole lot better good conditions all across the bay area. You can notice some of the yellow orange and very poor conditions on the right side of your screen up towards the sierra nevada. If youre heading out that direction air quality is definitely not kept up with their improvements that weve had back here a little closer to the coastline. Were sweeping winds have been pushing through pretty consistently the past few days and well continue ahead of this advancing front keeping air nice and clean and conditions actually a little bit cooler as we work our way into tomorrow and saturday even good news for the Pacific Northwest are getting some rainfall from this advancing system as for the bay area were going to pick up the nice breeze in the cooler air from it. But were not going to be seeing that rainfall you have to head north of ukiah up in the humboldt and del norte counties before you really start to see any sort of consistent rainfall. Were going to see a few clouds come tomorrow and a noticeable breeze, a cool breeze from the coast going to sweep through a little bit further inland help our Central Valley locations out with their quality of it before that wind relaxes into sunday and haze likely returns even into the bay to close out the weekend. Winds may be calm this morning but look at how they pick up later on today tonight into tomorrow morning do expect a breezy start as that cooler air pushes in. Todays daytime highs, 60s and 70s for San Francisco and our other coastal locations much like yesterday will be back to the 70s and 80s for daytime highs elsewhere little bit cooler only one to 2 degrees down from yesterdays highs though so pretty much a repeat of the good air quality we had the abundant sunshine. We had yesterday once the cleared out and then of course that warm but not too warm of temperatures 70s 80s for the north bay to with the vacaville are close to spot to 90 degrees. Toledo at 79 sandra fell more than 85 degrees. Tomorrows temperatures will be a bit cooler as i mentioned as will be the case on saturday sunday and monday the easier last 2 days of summer and were going out pretty like summer should with highs a little bit warmer and hazy skies returning for sunday and monday likely tuesday will cool back down just a few degrees to kick off all. Robin. Thank you john traffic, not so bad heading from the east bay to the north bay we have a little bit of a backup at the richmond sandra fell. Already gone so its going to be a great trip into the north bay, its only 8 minutes off to one on one. Now here at the favorites, lots of often on slowing this morning into San Francisco, youre backed up to west grand the stalled west of Treasure Island clear but a little sluggish on the suspension. You put it all together you get 14 minutes into San Francisco. And we have some heavier traffic through oakland ive been covering this crash in car fire at the hagan burger offramp to the south the ramp is closed and im just getting word that chp they just issued a Traffic Alert for the ramp is closed you need to get off at 66 or pass it and get off at 98. It is causing some so traffic now from high street. So if you want to avoid it altogether stay away from the nimitz take 5. 80 instead, ill let you know when they finally have it out of the way darya back to you thank you robin is 8 46 and in the south bay, San Jose Police are looking for the person behind a deadly shooting that happened tuesday night. Around 10 00pm at south 8th and reed streets in san jose. 2 men were shot and killed and 4 other people were hurt. And this was the scene yesterday morning as we brought you this live here on the kron 4 morning news showing a heavy Police Presence and the investigation. The victims were all attending an outdoor candlelight vigil when they were shot, but the police dont know yet if that vigil was somehow related to the shooting. Still interviewing witnesses were still trying to connect all the dots obviously if we do. We have more information share we will certainly put that out but this investigation is still very active. Were still talking to witnesses. And they still havent told us yet if there was another 911 call that happened earlier in the night from the same area, but theyre not saying yet if those 2 calls were related. Well developing story out of the north bay where we have leaders with the delay, a police union saying that they want to work with the city and the police chief on reforms to improve the department this comes after recent fatal shootings at the hands of delay hope police kron fours Jonathan Mccall has more. The boy told Police Officers Association Says officers are open and ready to implement reform changes here in the city. But the citys top cop says its not what hes heard so the bullet hole Police Officers Association Says its officers are looking for a new chapter for the city and the department we see it as an opportunity i move the department forward in a new direction, Peter Hoffman is a Union Representative and says that officers. Are on board with the idea of having new and innovative policing policies in order to improve the Department Position us as somehow an impediment to change and reform. And to the contrary. We have reached out on numerous occasions to get the ball rolling on these reforms offices of recommendations from 2 City Commission studies are on the table. But so far none of them have been implemented. He says as crime rises across the city, the biggest need right now more officers on the streets.
