The scu lightning complex fires in parts of the east bay and south bay is now 30 contained and the czu august lightning complex fire in san mateo and santa cruz counties is now 21 contained. Now good news out of the santa cruz area we have you see santa cruz lifting now its Evacuation Order from the seas you august lightning complex fires. The fires have burned more than 81,000 acres. So far. We know one person died in those fires last weekend more than 500 structures have also been destroyed. Kron fours gayle ong gives us a closer look. And hapnening today we have nearly 300 members of the California National guard helping firefighters battle that complex of fires burning to our north they arrived at the Cal Fire Base Camp there in Sonoma County at the fairgrounds in santa rosa yesterday and our cameras were there to capture their arrival. Many of these soldiers have fought fires before but all have spent the last few days training with cal fire specifically for this fire. Officials say these additional boots on the ground will be working as hand crews trying to get that line around the fire digging ditches and clearing out debris and brush. Firefighters say making progress in the next few days will be critical. Were on day 3 above the 45 day window of opportunity where the humiditys came up we got that close to limp fluence here which improved our weather conditions and thats the absolute time that we need to take advantage of resources like the National Guard where we can take advantage of the fire behavior where its not necessarily. Well in the north bay city leaders are looking to install a black lives matter street mural in front of city hall now this comes as the city of lake o deals with the impact of Deadly Police shootings involving its police department. Most recently 22 yearold Sean Monterrosa was shot and killed by officer jarrett on who fired 5 shots from the back seat of a police car as monterroso was kneeling with his arms raised. In fact in the past decade, the city has had 18 Deadly Police shootings. But police in the city are looking for more tangible results than just a street mural. Temperatures tomorrow afternoon will also be a bit warmer as we start to see this onshore flow relaxing today, youre getting a nice ocean cool breeze all the way to our inland areas going to keep things cool.
