now worried about brush fires. >>there's going to be a lot more people that perhaps haven't use fireworks before, and it increases the danger we obviously have drier windier conditions vegetation fires are are are beginning to light off pretty significantly at this point so that's one of our bay biggest concerns with fireworks. in addition to wood shake roofs, they can easily catch on fire as members. from above and get blown on your neighbor's roof. >>can firefighters say illegal fireworks parks, these flames it happened just after 3 o'clock this morning at crest avenue and fontaine street the fire burned about 2 and a half acres didn't threatening any structures and the good news, nobody was hurt and firefighters in the north bay had a similar message to share the crews in marine county responded to a fire last night in the highway one o one sausalito off-ramp. >>that was started by illegal fireworks safe and sane fireworks are not legal in marine county happening now cal fire's issued a red-flag warning in the north bay and much of the central valley with strong winds and dry conditions expected. >>the warning will be in effect starting at 10 o'clock tonight in about 40 minutes and last until 8 o'clock tomorrow night. the santa rosa fire department shared this video on his twitter page today. it says it will staff an additional engine and battalion chief for the next 24 hours to provide a higher level of protection for our communities. >>our chief meteorologist lawrence karnow standing by with more on the conditions we expect to see a who in the bay area needs to really pay attention to all of this large yeah, this just the beginning this really the first offshore wind event of the summer season and here we go we've got a long summer ahead of us and certainly a fire concern going to grow overnight tonight first him are in you see the amount ranges above a 1000 feet that's where we expect some strong gusty winds develop tonight specially after midnight tonight was just checking on some winds not too bad so far 1011 miles per hour that expected to pick up and then gusting we're talking 45 maybe 50 miles an hour humidity level dropping down to about 15%. so certainly some dangerous conditions should a fire gets started also in sonoma and napa counties looking at some very gusty winds similar conditions there down to about 15% relative humidity and also slama county but this is down at the lower level this right down the valley floor at least the northern half of slow county, maybe some gusts 40 maybe 45 miles per hour and you're looking to humidity, even a little bit lower down to about 14% so extremely dry out there right now looking for fire conditions to last through tonight and then into tomorrow evening before things begin to subside you see right here the winds will begin to pick up as we take you through the night and look at all the red boy really start to pick up especially focusing slama county areas we're going to see some very strong gusty winds there of over 3040 miles an hour so around the rest the bay area down below not much in the way of wind but those winds continue into tomorrow morning. i think that'll be the peak of this event then after that thing's going to turn more of a westerly wind more that on shore breeze by the afternoon it will be breezy but more westerly wind and much higher humidity. outside right now we're looking at winds 80 miles per hour out of the west-southwest into fairfield you got it miles an hour to san francisco, 13 in oakland all these winds going to switch more of a northerly direction overnight tonight and that is going to bring the high fire danger. clear skies over san francisco right now much of the bay area, the temperatures 65 degrees right now in san jose 53 cool in pacifica 58 degrees in dublin 62 in concord 16 oakland. it is 65 right now in tehran. look at santa rosa. still 71 degrees. we've got a weak system that making its way these she's seen the couple lightning strikes near reno that area of low pressure continue these high pressure building on the backside really generating the winds that are to come mostly clear skies. windy conditions overnight tonight and then tomorrow should be sunny and warmer little bit on the windy side of the breezy by the afternoon. we'll see piers when kind of on and off all week long and maybe stronger winds as we head in toward the 4th of july weekend. t 89 degrees for a high tomorrow little warmer to live more about 9084. in san jose in about 60 degrees in san francisco next 2 days little bit hot inland. those winds subside just a little bit. but then begin to pick up again right for the 4th of july. the hottest temperatures than expected on that day in the 80's. tweets by president trump embroiled him in to get another controversy involving race how his administration officials and critics are responding facebook loses another major advertisers more companies join in. >>in an ad boycott against the social media giant we're from cnn sen large about the here's what we want everyone to do. count all the hugs you haven't given. all the hands you haven't held. all the dinners you didn't share with friends. the trips you haven't taken. keep track of them. each one means one less person vulnerable, one less person exposed, and one step closer to a healthier community. so for now, keep your distance. but don't lose count. we'll have some catching up to do. >>troubling news for facebook more companies are pulling their ads from the social media platform starbucks announced today, it is pausing all social media advertising for now starbucks says the move is happening as the coffee giant is holding internal discussions about stopping hate speech. a civil rights group recently launched an ad boycott against facebook with the hashtag stop hate for profit. it urges companies to pause ad spending on facebook for the month of july, starbucks has not sent a signal necessarily that it was formally joining that effort but ensure with seen it tells us starbucks action alone says a majoe just facebook. >>what this point it's very clear that facebook has at least gotten the message. and one thing that one of the major has started announcing that they were going to pull their mark zuckerberg the ceo of facebook in the co-founder jumped on a wife stream. sensibly to all of his employees but also to the public and he announced some changes that we're going to be made to facebook including not allowing hate speech in advertising which just for a moment, personally i'm like really it took this long to make that decision but also there are some other things that he did as well including saying that any but close that i'm involved voting will now have a little link at the bottom sending you to facebook's voting center where they're hoping to help people sign up for voting learn about all this stuff and very clearly it's a response to some of the posts i president donald trump about whether or not they'll in balloting is something that we can trust even though his own government says that it's perfectly safe. so it's going to be very interesting to see how this further goes there's been a lot of pushback on mark zuckerberg over this his employees are unhappy a lot of his allies are unhappy seen twitter who historically has a terrible history of dealing with these things doing better than him in the public eye is not a good way to go forward and this is why the advertisers are going out. >>starbucks spent nearly $95 million last year on facebook as it joins other major brands pulling out of facebook advertising including unilever honda and coca-cola. >>since order to close down bars doesn't include sacramento box, the rising number of cases is leaving some bar owners there was. no other choice. >>plus celebrating the victories and focusing on the future i'm noelle bellow coming up we're taking a look at 5 years since the supreme court ruled their marriage legal across the entire country. they say we've come a long way, but there is still work to be done. >>now is a great time for us to be thinking okay 5 years from now where do we need to be and that's part of how we're spending fries. >>with no big parade marching down market street, this year celebrating 50 years of pride looks a little different for john lewis and stuart gaffney we've been connecting with people that we have work within the movement for decades and friends and just marking how far this movie has come they've been hosting talks about pride online using this month to celebrate the recent victories thanks again to the u.s. supreme court. >>outline. >>employment non-discrimination and explicitly naming transgender in country of deserves to be treated equally regardless of their religion race ethnicity orientation gender identity, you name it. >>we are all human being. >>the couple says when looking ahead to the next 5 years they also will be working hard to make sure congress passes the equality act that would make it illegal for businesses across the country to refuse service to lgbtq people and. >>well have gone the other ship to on the of them, i'm okay. i wish my father was here. >>rice says the family is just not sure how so many people got infected. he says they did not hold a party nor any large gatherings together they think one person got infected and from there the outbreak simply spread to more parts are closed again in sacramento after they learned a customer tested positive for covid-19. the businesses reopen for the first time since march just a few days ago, but as heather jansen tells us bar owners say they're not taking any chances. >>i think this is something that every business should fear closed for cleaning that lands in the depot not welcoming customers for at least another week after a customer tested positive for the virus still unclear where they contracted it but for jonathon cameron and staff and closing a felt like the right thing to do it's a risk in and it's our job and service possibility of businesses in our area. >>that if you find out somebody was in your facility tested positive for covid is to take the moment and clean they're not the first ones either earlier in the week zebra club closed after a customer there tested positive. >>these cases coming at the same time national health officials say younger people going to bars are putting more people at risk and suzanne austin came to town from rockland and says the scene businesses closing again is hard to see makes me sad the businesses are i will still come down here. >>because i believe it's the right thing to do and i don't want to get that. >>but says she understands why and hopes everyone takes precautions saying sacramento seems to be doing it right. >>they're doing it right we're doing it the right way. it's also up to you once again as a responsible person meanwhile several states rolling back on their reopening having bar shut their doors once again not taking a shot with numbers surging. >>here in our area cameron says if it happens here he believes it would be what's best for the health and safety of our community at some point we have to say this is where we are as a business a state and we're going to adjust. >>accordingly. that was had a chance and reporting in minneapolis bar owners are rethinking their safety protocol for bars were linked to a recent outbreak of covid-19 cases there kate raddatz reports. >>that's the first weekend that r word. open up in size and pittsford is the general manager at the 5 '07 bar and restaurant in man keto reopened this week after temporarily closing when he says a bouncer tested positive for covid-19 you feel a sense of. >>responsibility to the community and so he took. we took the initiative to close down the bouncers help make sure no one is violating the bars policy of having no more than 6 people to a table. >>isaiah says now they will also temporarily closed off indoor dining do an additional weekly sanitizer spray and while employees already got temperature checks. it will now be required for customers you had to turn anyone away. >>so far we have not so that tells me that people are either one thing contention to their symptoms or 2 tom, you know there's not really getting anything out about. and so conversation or you can stay that way i see a said most customers have been happily complying with their policies. >>but health officials have been urging younger people to still use social distancing and wear a mask when possible went out at restaurants individuals had frequented those establishments and experiencing symptoms please do consider being evaluated for the first time this week people in their 20's make up the largest portion of cases in the state. >>ayes and who encourages but does not mandate mask for customers said he thinks more specific guidelines for both president trump it shows people yelling a racist slogan that is associated with white supremacist critics say what he tweeted this morning goes to the heart of the racial justice discussion that's been going on across the country for the past month. trump shared this video in a tweet which has since been taken down the video is from the villages that's a community in florida. man driving a golf cart with trump campaign posters has seen yelling white power. in the tweet the president says quote. thank you to the great people of the village is referring to the people shown in the video that video shows trump supporters and anti-trump protesters arguing. the white house now claims the president did not hear the white power remark. that instead he re tweeted the video when he saw the enthusiasm of his supporters. south carolina senator tim scott, the only black republican in the senate said today quote there's no question that he should not have re tweeted that video. well listen and if you watch the entire video you can play it because it profanity-laced the entire thing was offensive. certainly the comment about the white power was offensive, there's no question we could play politics with it or we can't i'm not going to i think is indefensible we should take it down that's what i think. >>this is a pattern for the president right this is where he says he just doesn't understand or know or never heard of and never never saw anything that's ever happened around and that's kind of par for the course this cut this video which was extremely offensive. it would have taken a lot for him to not all eyes on it at all when you're tweeting because as you know when you get these things. the video starts we automatically so it's kind of strange credulity to say that he didn't know it. but whether he did or not it's part of a pattern. >>president trump has already been accused of inflaming racial tensions in the u.s. following the backlash over the killing of george floyd as well is back in 2017 when the president said there were quote very fine people on both sides of the clashes at a white supremacist rally in charlottesville, virginia that comment drew criticism at the time from democrats and from many republican vice president mike pence says he doesn't want to say black lives matter that's because he says he doesn't agree with what he believes is the. >>political message behind it pence told cbs today that he stands against racism and that george floyd's death was inexcusable but that all lives matter. he said he's opposed to the black lives matter movement because he says he believes it's pressing for a radical left agenda. he also says african american leaders have made clear to the trump administration they want law and order and peace on our streets. it is now up to mississippi voters to decide whether or not to keep their state flag the way it is state lawmakers voted this afternoon to retire the flag to lose the confederate emblem, republican governor tate reeves has said he will sign that bill and then it will go to voters in november. >>who has never been more difficult the pandemic has forced more than a million
