Temperatures pretty pleasant across most of the bay we have 66 antioch 59 for conquered 57 for livermore east bay shoreline, lower 60s and were going to see warming happening even there. Today come compared to what weve been seeing lower 50s up in the north bay 58 for San Francisco in 64, san jose just a quick check into the winds theyre not doing much of anything fairly calm Solano County still looking at that red flag warning as a precaution because the air even in the east bay is all fairly dry. And some of these valleys up in the north bay to speak of the red across the Central Valley where in the mid to upper 90s for highs today fresno at 95. Also for sacramento 76 for San Francisco and lower 70s cover much of southern california. All right the 4 zone forecast today 79 San Francisco Marina District about 73, 75 days city pacific at 7376 going on for Half Moon Bay. For the northern end of the peninsula upper 70s 81 for millbrae 85 for Burlingame Don of the south some lower 90s scratching and here looks like palo alto at 9392 for redwood city and the south bay 93 san Jose Morgan Hill at 9493 milpitas and also cupertino but some 90s to be found also along the east bay, shore line union city 89, but 90 hayward in fremont tri valley, youre looking at mid 90s, dublin, 93 up to walnut creek at 96 with conquered at 97. Youll probably see that again on sunday after a little bit of a break for the next 2 days after that 84 berkeley, 86 for richmond up to the north bay, 82 for 94 for napa 97 for sonoma with 97 also for fairfield and jumping up here to santa rosa at 97 with more 90s heading down south Stinson Beach by the way its 65 be cool spot, 79 4 point rate so there you have it on the 7 day forecast. Were drop ever so slightly for a couple of days spike again for sunday on dads day and then to next weekend kind of a mixture of upper 80s lower 90s, mixing things up for the bay bridges and roads rob whats going on. And 3 were children. Well the former Atlanta Police officer who shot and killed Rayshard Brooks is now facing felony murder charges. Fulton County District attorney paul howard announced those charges against Garrett Rolfe yesterday. The incident started when roth an officer Devin Brosnan trying to arrest brooks for dui when he was found sleeping in his car and a wendys drivethru in a scuffle brooks took one of the officers tasers and didnt rolfes direction and then he ran away. Rolf then shot him Richard Brooks widow Tamika Miller says that she was devastated after learning what happened. I would have done the but after everything he felt this guy here. What he went through. A public viewing for rayshardbrooks is scheduled monday at atlantas Ebenezer Baptist church and a celebration of his life will take place on tuesday at 1 oclock at that same church. Nationwide theres a dramatic shift taking place in opinions on policing and race. A new Associated Press poll finds that more americans today compared to 5 years ago believe that Police Brutality is a very serious problem that too often goes and discipline and an equally targets african americans. The new finding suggests the death of george floyd and the weeks of protests have changed perceptions and the ways that previous incidents of Police Brutality did not about half of American Adults now say that Police Violence against the public is a very or extremely serious problem. Thats up from about a 3rd as recently as september last year only about 3 in one said that the same in july of 2015 just a few months after freddie gray a black man died in Police Custody in baltimore. Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee advanced their policing reform package setting up a full house vote on the plan scheduled for next week. Now some of the big issues the bill tackles are banning choke holes and ending the qualified immunity doctrine. Democrats on the committee rejected amendments republicans offered to the measure throughout the day on a party line basis as members clashed on issues of antifa race and abortion. Democrats also approved an amendment naming the bill after george floyd. Good morning, everybody im Marty Gonzales that breaking news this morning is in the south bay, where theres a hostage situation under way right now in san jose kron 4 Sarah Stinson live at the scene this morning. She has the latest for us sara. Marty this very well could be wrapping up and possibly its hard to say they have the media push so far back here on center road but it seems as though possibly 3 people have been. Cuffed and taken into custody right here on the scene its so hard to make out. But im zooming in with my camera, but that is what it appears to be looking at video though this has been going on for 7 hours now just about 7 hours and police have been on the scene here at a home on the 4200 block of center road in san jose swat teams. Police you can see them in the video. They got here at 1238 this morning after someone called 911 the caller reported several suspects broke into a home and assaulted a family you can see someone being taken out on a gurney unclear if that is a suspect or if that one of the family members there when officers arrived on scene they set up a perimeter around the home and shut down surrounding intersections. Negotiations are going on as we speak, but that could be wrapping up as they said 3 people you know in handcuffs
