( darya ) in the south bay. an undocumented immigrant accused of killing a san jose woman... could soon be serving a life in prison for her murder. prosecutors charging carlos carranza for murdering 59 year old bambi larson, inside her knollfield way home. carranza has been in and out of the criminal justice out of the criminal justice system several times. evidence includes surveillance video that shows him stalking larson and her neighborhood. carranza's dna was also found at the crime scene. ( darya ) in a statement, the family of bambi larson thanked police for their persistence in gathering the evidence necessary to arrest the person responsible for bambi's death. ( james ) this morning we have new details about the man who was fatally shot by police in san leandro. he has been identified as 41-year-old charles ballard. he was fatally shot by police after trying to drive away from scene of a store robbery on wednesday. officials say ballard was a convicted felon with an extensive criminal history. he had an active felony warrant ... and investigators believe that may have motivated his behavior. has been published which has been published monthly in san francisco since 1981. no cause of death was released.
