All of a sudden there was a loud noise accompanied by the shaking, some people went into earthquake mode but most people went to check on their patients and just kept going, a lot of people did not have time to react. Reporter that nurse did not want to say what hospital she works at but she works at a nearby hospital. She told me that there were a lot of traveling nurses, the once that were not from california were scared. They ran for the doors and ran under the tables but she did not have time to do that, she checked on her patients. It did not cause a power outage so she went back to work. One person is dead following a Police Shooting near a bart station, it happened at 4 20 yesterday afternoon, two men got into an argument that ended in gun fire, this video was captured after the shooting. A mother is asking a hit and run driver to come forward and give her closure. This is her daughter, she was hit at 98th avenue in sunny side in oakland. Police said she was in the crosswalk when the dark colored sedan slammed into her and kept going, her mother is still in disbelieve. It happened right on the hayward fault. Minor damage has been reported. You know, a lot of people were surprised when the number came out, 4. 4, it felt stronger. A lot of people thought it was at least a five or more based on how much their house shook. But that goes to show, it feels stronger when you are in the epicenter. This one was felt as far north as santa rosa and as for south as santa cruz, no major damage or destruction. The other story we are dealing with is the rain. We are seeing rain falling right now mostly in the north bay and the peninsula. If you are are about to hit the roads, this is going to be a wet compute for you if you are traveling out of the north bay or around San Francisco right now. We have scattered showers, lighter than what we were tracking yesterday so thats very good news, most of the east bay getting a break right now. Light scattered showers passing through hayward. Everything is heading towards the east bay, the south bay getting nice and dry, a nice break for you but that is set to change into the overnight hours. We will talk about that in a bit. This is the San Francisco peninsula zone, parts of the city getting a soaking. 280 is a wet drive. The san mateo bridge, light to moderate shower activity. Pacifica highway one and half moon bay, we are seeing the showers continuing through there. This is the north bay, through the southern part of the north bay, marin and sausalito, thats going to be wet especially on the western side of the bridge. The Golden Gate Bridge into San Francisco also a wet drive. The rest of the day is on and off. Thats the trend. An east bay family wants answers after their dog was attacked at a kennel. This is shad shadow, he was dropped off while his family left for the new years celebration, the family was not told of the dogs injuries and they were horrified when they showed up. According to the workers at the kennel, he escaped from his kennel and attacked another dog, that put bull then reacted. In the east bay, a man is behind bars, accused of stabbing another man in berkeley. The two men, who did not know each other, got into a fight.
