and adam ward. dozens of people gathered outside. leaving balloons, flowers, and cards for the victims. many remain in shock by how something like this could have happened in their community. for the healing of vikki gardner, the woman injured in the shooting. she's listed in stable condition and is expected to survive. colleagues say, adam ward and alison parker were positive people. relentlessly hardworking, and they never shied away from a story. both worked as interns at the w-d-b-j station. eventually becoming a morning show team, as staff reporter and photographer. ward was engaged to a morning show producer. while parker was dating the station's anchor, chris hurst. they had been dating for nine - months. and had just moved- in together. parker's father released a statement today saying wuote - "i find my grief unbearable. not hearing her voice again crushes my soul." the shooter. vester flanangan. is a bay area native. some of his family members still live in the north bay. in vallejo today. flanagan's relatives and friends say, they too are in shock. over the horrific tragedy. neighbors say, the family of the 41-year-old. is well respected in the area. they say he never showed any signs of mental health issues. the flanagan family apologized to the victims. and neighbors shared their reactions today. >>:we express our deepest condolences to the burned for hours, because it was fueled by a ruptured gas line. and p-g and -e had difficulty shutting down the line. here's what a p-g-and-e spokesperson said late tonight. >>:they were trying as walking her dog. this is a sketch of the subject. it happened just before 5-30 last night, at monroe park on miller avenue. the victim's dog approached the suspect in the park. as the woman went to fetch her pet. the man exposed himself to her. police say, the man is in his early 20's. with an olive complexion, and dark, curly hair. detectives are looking into whether the man is linked to other cases in palo alto. tourism is big business in san francisco. but two recent violent incidents at tourist spots. have a lot of people concerned about safety a man says he got a lot more than sushi
