come this afternoon. still well below average but i would call that comfortable for this afternoon we are looking at the bay bridge under mostly cloudy conditions. forecast oakland we expect temperatures to be in the lower 60s. gradual clearing once again for partly cloudy conditions today. by 4:00 p.m. temperature will be 73. this evening temperatures cool down into the upper 60s by 6:00 this evening to mid 70s by 8:00. right now. if you are just waking up temperatures are all across the board in the 60s. santa rosa is 61 degrees. we have a check of future cast today. temperatures will warmup but we won't have really hot temperatures. by lunchtime 60s and 70s. most highs will reach into the 70s. maybe a few spots in the lower 80s. well below average especially for our inland communities. i'll let you know when it warmup comes our way and when we could see more showers. happening right now the construction that has doil drive closed is moving smoothly. officials say they are on track with their timeline. they plan to open up for traffic tomorrow morning at 5:00 as scheduled. the work doesn't stop there. kron 4's reporter shows us what it will look like. >>reporter: first comes the asphalt than the green. this weekend's closure is finalizing the construction. the end result goes beyond that. it's a really important project for us and welcoming the public for everyone. >>reporter: this is what the area above the tunnel should look like. a green space. it's a plan put together by the trust and they built new york's famous high line. when it project is done we'll have the opportunity to bring people right into the main post to the park website. to the new visitor center, food service, bike rental, transit center. and go out on 24 miles of trail to enjoy your national park. >>reporter: this weekend has been a nightmare for some. >> we tried to use google maps and an it just said there was construction. >>reporter: the end result finished in 2018. the park will be a dream come true. now the breaking news this morning. one person is dead after a early morning crash on highway 24. police received the call at 3:00 this morning. that happened near the stevens drive off-ramp. investigators are looking into what caused the crash. also happening right now in fremont police are looking for a man in a home burglary. police released these surveillance photo of the suspect inside the home. they are trying to figure out who this man is. they are trying to identify the man in the photo. people in a camp got the boot saturday morning. police say they were squatting on state property and marshals came in and cleaned it out. now we'll see what's next for those people. >> they move you hear and you have to go somewhere else. >>reporter: 60 people have been kicked out of this encampment. many of them have been squatting under the freeway for years. >> how many of them just want a place to call their own, you know. someone to care. >>reporter: the city did a sweep on july 8th for the people that could be seen along the front. the state did their sweep saturday morning for everyone inside. >> for what? it's not fair. >> the last week we had my aunt got ran over by the bull dose errand almost died. they ran over her while she was sleeping inside her tent. >>reporter: for health around safety reasons trees were trimmed and cleaned. >> you have a lot more people that are moble. a lot more people are in the street. they will come to a neighborhood near you. >>reporter: the camp runs a mile long andover here is a makeshift shower for the camp. this severed as a door as an entry way to the camp. >> we are told where to go and what to do then when we get there the doors are closed on us. >>reporter: with notice of arrest. many said they will go right back in after the cleanup is done. coming up this weekend. several arrests are made following a shooting at a motel 6. what we learned about the suspects this morning. plus. >> i'm tied with jeb bush. >>reporter: what trump said about bush and clinton. the lapd called this some of the most reckless driving you have every seen. the video you have to see to believe. did receive food during that time. he did receive medical attention and water. they believe he assaulted a female officer. they have put 6 people on leave. eurozone leaders will meet today. they are a huge surprise for this time of year. here is annie hong to give us the forecast. >>reporter: good morning. we are waking up to cloudy skies across the area. we are looking at partly sunny conditions at sso. we have no delays for arriving flights out of sso or into oakland this morning. very similar conditions are expected just like yesterday. we'll reach a high of 67. the wind shouldn't be too bad. a really nice day to be outdoors if you want to get that hike in and enjoy the sunshine. storm tracker 4 is showing us no radar returns. because of that marine layer we aren't seeing a lot of fog and clouds along the coast this morning. temperatures will be remain below average. wind speeds aren't too bad. still breezy at fair field. 8 in oakland. the winds shouldn't get that stronger temperatures we are waking up to 50s and 60s. 73 63 in red field city. it's very comfortable conditions. i would still call it shorts weather. for east bay inland locations. a few more 80s today. 84 in brentwood and lower 80s in pittsburgh. upper 70s in sunnyville. 78 in san jose. upper 60s for half moon bay. if you go up to wine country look for low 80s in napa. no major changes in temperatures over the next few days. tomorrow and tuesday are staying below average. they will be in the low 80s at the bay. i'll talk about the warmup headed our way and take a look at your san francisco giants baseball forecast their this afternoon. >> all right, annie. the suspicious wanted for the shooting of a prostitute in a hotel are in custody. we spoke with an investigator that told us what lead to their arrest. >>reporter: 22-year-old ronnie threadgil was booked into the county jail charged with attempted homicide and assault with a firearm. his 19-year-old accomplice also taken to the same jail on half million dollars bail charged as accessory to attempted homicide. >> hopefully it doesn't turn into a homicide investigation. >>reporter: aaron johnson with the department of public safety said threadgil started fire on the woman. surveillance photos from the restaurant shows the car pulling up to drop threadgil off. a later photo shows threadgil running away after the shooting. >> we are unsure of the motive. >>reporter: it appears the wounded woman was inside the motel room at the time engaged with another man engaged of prostitution. the woman was shot and the man pistol whipped. the police stopped the car and later let the two men go. they found evidence linking the two to the crime and arrested both without incident. >> they found clothing and glasses where the victim was found. through their investigation they were able to find pictures on the internet of the suspect wearing glasses similar to those they found. >>reporter: at this time the wounded woman is still there intensive care and yet to speak with investigators. in national news this morning. now that the confederate battle flag was moved from south carolina we are hearing from members of the kkk. another group will also be at the statehouse at the same time. the kkk said their massage won't be able hate. >> no one else wants to stand- up about what's right. >> but us. >> we are consider terrorist. >> if a black individual broke down on the side of the road i would help them. >> the kkk said they will fight back if they are attracted and some of their protesters will carry conceal
