Palm Beach Daily News Lee Bell, who for more than 30 years has booked the season’s shows at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts, has been nominated for a programming award from the Association of Performing Arts Professionals. Bell, the Kravis’ senior director of programming, is one of 18 nominees for the William Dawson Award for Programmatic Excellence and Sustained Achievement in Programming. The award will be presented during a virtual ceremony on May 6. “I’m honored to be recognized for the work that I have enjoyed for more than 30 years,” Bell said in a prepared statement earlier this month. “Although all of us have faced many challenges in the last year, the industry forges ahead and the performing arts continues to inspire and unite people from around the world — something that I am very proud to be a part of.”
