Eight of them cleared the exam. KPR Mills has guest workers from Orissa and other Northern states at their units since 2017. The company now has 2,700 migrant workers from other states. Based on the success of their education programme for Tamil Nadu workers, in 2019 the company decided to extend their work and study programme to their guest workers too. After research, they decided to tie up with National Open School exams and called on interested workers to step forward.
