Reporter the district with the department of public health created regular weekly vaccine clinics at four schools. He is with the department of public health. Because these vaccinations are here at school, the children and also the parents have a high comfort level. Reporter their primary focus is on district, staff and families with kids, but they will vaccinate anyone who comes by that is eligible. The clinics have the capacity to administer 62 doses a day, but they are working to expand up to 200 doses a day if needed. As the department of public health, every vaccine is a win for us. Reporter data shows about 90 of kids 12 to 17 are fully vaccinatend and pediatric covid 19 cases remain low. Children younger than 12 years old cant get vaccinated yet. One of the main reasons were out here is to build up to the expansion of pediatric vaccinations. He said they want the clinics up and running so when kids 5 to 11 can, they will have plenty of places to choose from. She wanted to get vaccinated so going about her daily life would be easier which includes playing high school sports, but also to be safer all together. Appointments are not needed.
