The shooting has sparked protests in North Carolina because witnesses say deputies opened fire at the unarmed 42yearolds car as he was driving away, hitting him in the back of the head. At the same time tonight, in a sign of how the Biden Administration will handle concerns about unfair policing, Attorney General Merrick Garland says hes opening a federal investigation into the louisville, kentucky, Police Department. The probe comes after the shooting death of Breonna Taylor in march 2020. She was also shot and killed by police during a Botched Police raid on her apartment.
