Nearly three quarters of the registered voters have cast their ballots ahead of election day. That number is nearly 70 in sonoma county, contra costa, and napa counties. Well over half of the registered voters in alameda San Francisco allowing residents to avoid the election day crowds. Theyre reopening tomorrow morning at 7 00 a. M. Temperatures cooler, but the above normal temperatures, just kind of keep rolling into early november. Light winds, slightly stronger onshore component to those winds tomorrow. So it will be cooler in the city and along the coast. But bigger changes are in stored for later this week because of the largescaled weather pattern further up will shift around. Big storm system will be dropping down out of canada as we head towards friday and saturday, which means its going to be substantially cooler especially for inland portions of the bay area. Almost 20degree drop in temperatures. But the path will follow and drop in just straight from the north, which means it wont have a chance to grab some moisture down to the south to bring that up towards us. Our rain chances will remain low. Its not zero, so there is still a chance. We will keep an eye on that and we really need some rain around the bay area, just doesnt look like it will happen. Looking out there right now the fog is starting to roll in as we look towards the golden gate from on top of the hotel. Down to 49 degrees in santa rosa. 55 degrees downtown. Otherwise temperatures are still running in the mid to upper 50s. The fog will spread out and spread to the inland valleys to at least some extent to start the day tomorrow. It will back up pretty quickly in those inland spots. But around the bay and along the coast, it will take longer for the fog to finally retreat. Right along the coast, youll have a hard time shaking it. Similar conditions to what we had today. Temperatures will start off in the lower 50s across the board. The coolest spots will move it down into the 40s. But this is a pretty looking temperature map for november. High temperatures tomorrow will be all over the place. Thanks to stronger onshore breeze, the city will be substantially cooler at 12 degrees cooler than today. But still mostly low to mid70s as you head further inland with the warmer spots reaching up to 80 degrees. Lets zoom in for a closer look. And only around 60 degrees along the coast thanks to the low cloud cover and fog. Low to mid70s for the south bay into the mid to upper 70s. Further inland for the santa clara valley. The warm spots east, they will reach into the low 80s to the mostly 70s to around 80 degrees for the trivalley. Mid to upper 60s and the lower 70s with mid to upper 70s for the north bay and just a little warmer further north thanks to the lack of the marine influence for the lake and mendocino counties. Temperatures will stay warm on wednesday and thursday and then that big drop. Some clouds, but no rain drops out of the clouds by friday, saturday, sunday.
