We are still looking at the red flag warning in effect for the areas in red until 11 00 a. M. North bay and east bay mountains, inland valleys, Santa Cruz Mountains under the red flag warning. Low relative humidity values, so looking at extreme fire danger. The heat is on for sure. The heat advisory for the bay area again today due to dangerous heat. We are talking temperatures a few degrees hotter than yesterday. Low 90s in San Francisco and oakland, mid 90s for san jose and upper 90s, close to 100 for concord. About 20 to 22 degrees above average for this time of year. Well talk about a cool down, when we will see the ocean breeze returning for us coming up in a moment. Investigators believe that he was stolen from his enclosure on tuesday and then around 5 00 last night, Daly City Police got a call from somebody who saw the endangered ring tailed lemur at the playground at Hope Lutheran church. Thats about five miles from the zoo. Officers managerred to choral him until zoo workers could arrive and bring him back to the zoo.
