The cal fire chief said they have turned a corner in fighting the glass fire. In the last 24 hours, containment has increased to 41 . Some evacuation orders were downgraded to warnings monday. They have been starting tomorrow. The beginning of the cooldown. Cooler temperatures as we look to the rest of the week and our rain chances return back to the forecast by the end of the week. The two ridges of High Pressure keeping us warm and dry for now. As we go hour by hour on future cast we are going to see at least that sunshine and clearing inland. We will see partly sunny skies and the clouds stick around the coast and then as we look to the rest of the week that ridge weakens tomorrow. That stronger sea breeze kicks in for us. Thats why temperature also be cooler starting tomorrow through the rest of the week and then as we look to friday and for saturday, more clouds, cooler temperatures, and those rain chances. The weather models not in great agreement on this. One model keeps that storm track far to the north. Another one does bring that storm break into the bay area. This is the european weather model.
