Right around grant line westbound 580. Fire crews are blocking that right lane there. So traffic is building and it went from 45 minute drive time to 69 mine 205 over to 680 as you head west of there over to 680. So again its right around grant line and lanes are blocked there. And you are going to see a bit of backup in that area. So its definitely slow and go. You can stick with the alternates or side streets if you can in the meantime. But no word yet how long those lanes will be locked but that big rig fire still pretty active as you head through there. Another trouble spot on south 680 right before koopman road. The right lane is blocked for an accident. Chp and crews are on scene for this. An area where there has been ongoing construction as well. So thats kind of making matters worse. You have got a backup at least over two and a half, maybe three miles at this point. So pretty significant as you head into the sunol grade this morning. Definitely pack your patience if you want to go through there. If you want to use 84 thats it willth starting to bog down just a bit as well. Golden gate bridge looking okay right now. The construction just north of here just look like its causing any backup as ou head through there. We had reports of some fog though overnight. Might be an issue along 101 just north of sausalito. And it is a spare the air day. It continues due to the ongoing wildfires in the unhealthy air quality so if you want to utilize mass transit. Everything is on time. But Service Change for muni metro. So overnight, making landfall across the texas louisiana coast as a major category 3 storm with winds over 110 miles per hour. Extreme winds and flash flooding for the area and life threatening storm surge. Likely a devastating hurricane for the gulf coast. So watching that closely. And also watching here at home, all of this smoke. So unhealthy air quality once again with a spare the air aelect in effect all the way today now extended through friday. Heres a live look with the Treasure Island camera. Low clouds and area of fog along the coast and right around the bay. Temperatures this morning in the 50s and 60s. Looking at 62 in concord and oakland at 58. Livermore, good morning to you. At 61. Mid 50s in San Francisco and 63 in san jose. And looking at 54 for santa rosa this morning. So heres what you can expect. We have morning fog along the compost and right around the bay. Still dealing with the haze and that smoke especially inland. Near average temperatures today. And that spare the air alert continues through friday. Tende further than that. So taking a look at current air quality, it does look a little bit better compared to yesterday at this time. Moderate air quality from the peninsula to the south bay. Redwood city, down through Mountain View and san jose. To the east bay, moderate air quality from hayward and union city and the trivalley and dublin and pleasanton and livermore. Looking at moderate air quality from concord and walnut creek and danville as well as around the bay. Good to moderate from stance to oakland but north bay, we have that unhealthy air closer to the lnu lightning complex fire. So novato, san rafael dealing with unhealthy air as well as fairfield. Looking at smoke and haze and that could help to mix out at least some of the smoke. But at least higher relative humidity values that should help firefighters a bit. Through the day, westerly winds 5, 10, 15. Up to 20 miles per hour. So for the south bay, looking at 84 in santa clara and san jose. For the east bay topping out at 89 for concord and pleasant hill. For the north bay, upper 70s to low to mid80s. Heres the extended forecast and what you can expect. Were going to continue with that haze and that smoke and temperatures on the rise.
