>> we got a suspect down. >> reporter: footage has been handed over to oakland police. san leandro police said it is unclear if the suspect returned fire. >> we don't know the exact events. like i said we are waiting on oakland to do their investigation, examined the evidence and let us know. >> reporter: remember the canine that was released after the initial crash?
