The Stanislaus County deputy and his friend rescued a woman and a 12yearold who were both face down in the water after the crash. And 70s in most spots. 78 in concord. 76 in livermore. 59 at halfmoon bay. The fog will continue to spread out as we head through the rest of the night. You can see a few blips of green. Its not full fledge rain. But mist and drizzle thats thick enough to add up to a few hundredths of an inch of what the computers will record as rainfall. It goes in the record books that way. But its a layer of moisture that adds up on surfaces exposed to the outside air. In the afternoon, fog retreats slightly. Far inlanding were looking at partial clearing with gray skies overhead for the city, the east baalong the coast, over cast throughout the day, even a little more mist and drizzle as we head through tomorrow night into early thursday. Barely up to 70 degrees for the warmest places on the map. Warm spots make it up to the mid to upper 70s. 60s around the bay and the santa clara valley. Barely the low 70s. Well below normal for this time of the year. The weather pattern will break thursday and friday for first couple days of the pga championship. More clouds than sunshine on thursday. Fog in the morning giving way to temperatures trying to warm up into the upper half of the 60s. A better chance of more sunshine on. Temperatures will steadily warm up more and more as we head into the weekend. That means the upper half of the 80s inland saturday and sunday. 70 degrees near the bay. It was a shower curtain with two sets of gloves and im like what . And then i was like oh my gosh. They actually listened to me when they asked me what i wanted and that was all i wanted, hugs. And hugs she got. One by one. The emotions just took off. And i just couldnt control myself. I was just there was no other feeling that was better for me. The last time they all got together was before the shelter in place in february. I just felt lost. And im so used to giving my kids, my grand kids hugs and kisses and getting all together, just being able to do that, it felt like my heart was going to burst. And she wasnt alone. Ive had tears in my eyes. I tried not to cry. Most of my family got to hug her. The biggest hug you can. What did grandmas hug feel like. A big squeeze. To me this was everything.
