To try to find someone who hasnt had controversy or some people disagreeing with them, you will not find anybody. But the Solano County days that she was appointing a special prosecutor because her office was quote losing public trust. Right now the district is holding teachers to their regularly contracted workday of 375 to 390 minutes. The union wants to cut it down to 300 minutes across the board. Also proposing that teachers spend just an hour a day with their students for the first week and use the rest of the time to plot lesson plans for the rest of the year. The union is seeking wellness time, that is described as opportunities for teachers to engage in a stress release activities. A district spokesperson said while there is no hard deadline on a deal, the goal is to finalize an agreement before classes resume on august 10.
