The main areas of concerns are parts of marin. The Marin County Fire Department says some road are in effect. Fire officials are asking people to be extremely cautious. Were looking for people are looking at getting outside and we want them to be careful. Reporter marin county fire say they have added extra steps in advance of this red flag warning. Marin county is reminding homeowners to have feet of defensive area around around their homes. We saw winds swaying. There was a 45mile hour gust in pleasantton but that was earlier. Tonight police are investigating a shooting that left a pedestrian with a gunshot wound to the head. It h t south king road exit. Chp locateed the pedestrian near a homeless encampment just after 3 30 this afternoon. No word tonight on the pedestrians condition. Investigators are asking for the publics help. Police are investigating a hate crime at an Lgbtq Community center. A man armed with a gun smashed the window while yelling expletives. The cofounders of the center believes it is vandalism which happened on pride weekend. And it was a premeditated and purposeful event. We have a huge banner in our window that says black lgbtq black lives matter too. So were pretty clear that it was a hate crime. Our windows might have been broken but, as the mayor said, but our spirit with wasnt broken. Reporter it cost roughly 2,000 to replace the windows and repair the damage. Well the pandemic might have canceled the pride parade but it did not cancel the message. Reporter the message of equality was expressed in different places and in many ways. Some came to dance, others marched with friends. This just gave people a reason to gather andceleiothwe are also than all of us. We were still able to celebrate pride and we did it with this beautiful mural. I think it shows our endurance and strength. Living with and surviveing all of the isms that get thrown at you by the culture can be both heartbreaking, and simple. A woman screaming as she was being thrown out of a trader joe. She says she asked permission to come into the store without a mask because of a medical condition. Its never okay to harass or assault anyone based on an assumption or anyone because someone is not wearing a mask. That is just absurd. You have to wear a mask, the guideline s is wear a mask. Its respectful to other people. Its not what feels right to you or is selfish about you. People in the trader joe says that they were disgusted and appalled. And one Trader Joe Employee said, you have to wear a mask for 20 minutes to shop, i have to wear a mask for eight hours to work. Including the plea deal is expected to spare him the death penalty. Authorities are issuing a warning about illegal fireworks. Thats what sparked this fire in oakland. Flames broke out early this morning at crest avenue and fontane street. Nobody was hurt. No structures were threatened that was lucky. Officials say illegal fireworks started this fire in utah. They damaged several homes and threatened to burn about 800 acres. The fire prompted onused power outages. Luckily, thanks to fire crews the fire calmed down tonight. Its 26 contained. Just outside of las vegas crews are trying to contain that fire. Within just a matter of hours it swelled from 10 acres to 5,000. Near by areas have been evacuated. Four agencies are working on the fire tonight. So far it has not been contained at all.
