Hate Crime Investigation in the meantime developing in union city this morning, and a car with a black lives matter sign in the window was spray painted with racist graffiti had had its windows smashed. It happened on sunday, and an officer got some cleaning supplies and then went ahead and removed the graffiti himself. Oakland police are also investigating a racist message and a drawing of a person wearing a kkk outfit at the port of oakland. Police were contacted immediately after the racist drawing was found. A disturbing story out of South Lake Tahoe, a black doll found hanging from a power line, and police say the doll was seen hanging with a string understand its neck in the sierra tahoe neighborhood yesterday. Its just a day after the Police Department partnered with Community Members to hold the town hall meeting, discussing the racerelated issue in the area, having positive conversations. Thats not something that South Lake Tahoe stands for or something that our Police Department stands for, we want out there. They dont know at this point how long the doll had been hanging there. Among the demands, the call to disarm police to create a Community Review board to oversee the police actions, to implement the eight cant wait guidelines, to reduce the Police Budget by 50 , and reinvest it into the college, especially for students who struggle with food and housing, and one assistant professor at the University Said its a call to start a community dialogue.
