This round includes offices if you cannot work from home. Shopping malls, strip malls and outlets for Curbside Pickup only, carwashes and pet grooming with modifications and botanical gardens. As for when restaurants can reopen their dining rooms, the governor is leaving that up to individual counties. Butte and el dorado counties are the only ones that need the states meet the states readiness criteria. It would include constant cleaning of constant high used areas and high touch services. The space is just going to be the biggest challenge. Our idea was to have eight tables in here and eight on the patio somehow, realistically we are realizing were probably going to have to get rid of a couple more tables than we had anticipated. California Senate Leaders have unveiled a sweeping plan to provide relief for struggling renters and landlords. This proposal would allow landlords to receive tax credits for rent payments missed by their tenants, in exchange for promising to not evict them. Tenants would be able to repay the state over 10 years for missed rent under a voluntary program. Dont waste your money, thats what medical experts still say about the covid19 Antibody Test currently on the market. Thats not stopping many people who want to get tested anyway. Obviously there are no hard numbers on how many people are getting these Antibody Test but i can tell you when i went into get mine for this report, the place was packed, so how much can you trust your results . We talked to one of the bay area researchers putting the tests to the test. When this man discovered he had been exposed to covid19 on a business trip in early march, he immediately put his fan import business on hold. Then he got curiou positive swab mean he had covid 19 antibodies, so when Quest Diagnostics launch their new service a few weeks ago he was among the first to sign up. Sure enough, the test came back positive, too. Im hoping eventually theyre going to change the approach so that people have immunities can go back to work. Reporter just three weeks ago there was only one lab in the entire bay area offering Antibody Tests, now the market has exploded. They are advertised all over the internet, some even have sales going on with prices and i decided to type try it out and paid 100 to get a covid Antibody Test request. The test is a blood draw, supposedly more accurate than a finger , Quest Diagnostics uses the test authorized for emergency use by the federal drug administration. Its among 11 the fda has authorized so far. There are more than 200 others that are not. There are over 200 different Antibody Tests out there, at this point, more than we have for any other Infectious Disease. Reporter an assistant professor of bioengineering at uc berkeley, one of more than 50 top scientists working on the covid19 testing project. One of the things we are able to do in our study is test these tests against each other headtohead. Reporter using blood samples taken well before the outbreak that are expected to be negative and samples taken from patients believed to be positive from swap tests, the researchers put 10 Antibody Tests to the test to see what they could detect. Tests on the negative samples had mixed results leading to a lot of false positives, only one test culture biotech got it right 100 percent of the time. While a test called the lou identified only 84 percent of negative blood samples as negative. The other 16 percent it falsely identified as positive. So that would really not be acceptable performance. Reporter with the positive blood samples the researchers detected antibodies 90 percent or more of the time three weeks or more after symptom onset, but that doesnt take into account if you were exposed right before you got the test. So thats also important to understand if you have a negative Antibody Test, it doesnt necessarily mean you havent been exposed to the virus, it couldve happened within the last three weeks. Reporter his word of warning for people who have tested positive what it does not tell you is that you have protective immunity against the virus. There is likely some correlation between the two, that we cannot draw that conclusion. I will learn more about it. Reporter this man says he has not changed his behavior, he still practices social distancing and wears a mask, but hes more hopeful about getting back to his important business as ans to lou, a Company Based in china for their response to the poor test results and so far we have not heard back.
