Reporter health Officials Say the patient was admitted to north bay Vaca Valley Hospital on the 15th with flulike symptoms, but it was days before she would be tested for the coronavirus because she had not traveled to a virus hotspot or had close contact with anyone who did, the criteria for testing. Her health continued to decline. She was transferred to Uc Davis Medical Center four days later. They tested her and she came back positive. We have identified family members of this individual and they are in isolation pending testing. Theyll remain in quarantine for 14 Days Since Last exposure to the patient. The patients workplace has been fully addressed as well. Reporter many here wonder did the womans case have anything to do with the fact that the military is housing hundreds of coronavirus patients, evacuees from overseas, at nearby Travis Air Force base .
