Reporter were now learning more information about 2 people possibly involved in a deadly Home Invasion robbery at this dublin condo. I had the chance to connect with the mother of the woman who was killed here on wednesday. She said she did not want to talk with us on camera, but said she cant imagine how her daughter was involved in such a heinous crime. 18yearold Adriana Marie navarros mother tammy said her daughter went to school to be a medical assistant and had a good job and a good heart. She says sometimes her daughter didnt associate with the best people, but she didnt deserve this. She said ricky was the problem. Ricky white jr. Was the other person involved. Her daughter had recently broke up with a man that lived in this condo. She came to the apartment with white, and when he opened it, the 2 charged inside. According to the exboyfriend, white threatened him with a gun, so he fired his own gun at navarro and white in selfdefense. She died instantly. White was shot and survived. All day yesterday, police searched for a key piece of evidence. The gun white brought to the house. And late this afternoon, they found a gun matching the description. White is now facing a number of felony charges including firstdegree murder and is being held without bail. The exboyfriend was not hurt and is not being charged. This is dublins first homicide since 2009. Detectives are now trying to determine the motive behind this deadly confrontation. Hes accused of driving the get away car that hit and killed the victim. Police say the 34yearold victim ran off the suspects that snatched his laptop. One of the suspects, 21yearold javon lee faces Involuntary Manslaughter and robbery charges. Friends say the victim died on his birthday. Tonight were learning more about a mishap on top of a petaluma silo that left a worker severely injured. Fire crews rushed to the area of the d street bridge this afternoon after bystanders reported seeing a large metal tower collapse and heard someone screaming for help. Rescuers climbed up a 35foot ladder to find a 30yearold man trapped under a large conveyor. They managed to lift it up, but he was in pretty bad shape. Hes now in the hospital with life threatening injuries. Southwest airlines is defending its Safety Record after a global study ranked it the least safe u. S. Carriers. Most other u. S. By the time we get to about 5 00 in the morning, were seeing better rain stretching from across, say the peninsula, the city, marin, and up towards napa. This will probably be one of the more impressive time frames here. Once we get past 5 00 a. M. And the band of rain continues to move south, it kind of falls apart. So by 7 00 a. M. , around sunrise, its light spotty hit and miss showers. Not a lot to this by the time its down to the bay. So theres a soutchance for lig rain. You know, like maybe. 01 inches of rain in the Early Morning hours. Just enough for things to get damp. But its not going to be a major rain event. And by the time most of us wake up its long done. Just a few left over clouds. Watch what happens sunday. Sunday in the afternoon, another weak little system come not guilty here. That grazes along the coast and doesnt really provide enough rain here, i dont even have rain in the forecast for sunday on the sevenday. I dont think its going to hold together or be that impressive. It may increase the clouds, may look like the possibility for rain, but really the better bet is early tomorrow morning, and these are the totals. We pick up less than a 10th of an inch of rain. Even through napa and sonoma county. Ukia making up maybe a little over a tenth of an inch of rain. But i think what youll notice more is the cool down from this, and not necessarily tomorrow mornings lows which are actually pretty easy to get through. We stay in the upper 40s in most spots because the cloud cover keeps us warm. But sunday morning and monday and tuesday of next week, the temperatures in the inland valleys dip back down into the 30s for lows. It will feel colder in the morning the next few days.
