This was the scene last night. Surrounding homes experienced some flooding. Water service is shut off in the area. Some made it on to highway 1 1 slowing traffic there and adding to the chaos, a multiple car crash. They are still investigating. It is unclear if the accident was caused by the flooding. This is one of three water main breaks in San Francisco there overnight. You can see this video. The water gushing and damages three homes causing flooding in the basement and garage.
