People who happened to be outside davis yesterday got quite a show in the Central Valley of california. So that same storm that was able to spawn that yesterday was responsible for the snow. And the cold air thats pulled into Northern California is also going to bring us down. The coldest morning, some parts of the bay area, since early march, right now in santa rosa its 51. That number is going to go down to 40 by the time you step out the door. Thats tomorrows morning low at 40. Were not all going to be that cold. Youve got to be in some of the sheltered locations like up in the valleys and perhaps some of the sheltered valleys over in the east bay. Numbers not getting quite as low as santa rosa. So bundle up. Its going to feel cold tomorrow. As far as what that storm still has, we talked about the snow in the sierra at the top of the newscast. Lets come back home and talk about the rain. The showers right now are well off the coast. And we have seen the best part of this storm in terms of its ability to bring rain to the bay area. We havent seen the last of it. If we switch from the live radar, i put this into the futurecast, play it forward and every once in a while you see a green blip right there. Thats 2 00 a. M. Tomorrow morning. We could see a stray shower or two. Instead of it being focused in the north bay, the focus will shift down to the south bay as the storm finally starts making its exit and well experience that tail end of it before its out of here just in time for the morning commute. We dont have to worry about rain for the drive to work tomorrow. Instead it will be grabbing the jacket because it will be a chilly monday morning. Afternoon daytime highs will be fine. Thursday, 83. Lets do the same thing for san jose. Notice how the average comes down to 80. So do the numbers in general. But well still get to 80 by thursday. Now lets see how oakland experiences this. The average is only 73. So were going to warm up into the mid 70s by the time we get to wednesday and thursday and San Francisco just a little below. The average being 70. The swings are never as exaggerated as they are across the rest of the bay area. Well go from the low 60s tomorrow all the way up to the low 70s by the time we get to thursday.
