Coming through the altamonte pass you will be slow going thanks to a new accident right this on 580 westbound at north flynn road. That drive time creeping up closer to 40 minutes. You are now in the yellow on east shore freeway as well as highway 4. The drives are 2 2 minutes and 37 minutes. You looking good out of the south bay though on 101. On to the Richmond San Rafael bridge slow going in the westbound direction no problems as far as lane closures or issues with accidents. This is just regular old rush hour traffic. Eastbound direction no problem there. There are going to be laneclosures in the direction. Until this afternoon as a result of emergency construction on that bridge. Now off to the bay bridge where metering lights have have been on for a hour. Sun is coming up the east shore freeway is moving but slows down as you get to the maze. Same thing with 808 approaching the flyover. Through the toll plaza you are moving along at relatively good clip and its slow going which is the same story at the san mateo bridge. Thank you. The man at the center of the ghost ship warehouse fire case takes the stand again today. Master tenant Derick Almena has continued the testimony and jackie ward is here. An emotional first day in court. Reporter very, and it was a highly anticipated day. Today is expected to be much of the same. Derick almena took the stand monday and appeared remorseful. At one point he broke down on the stand saying that he was broken hearted. He said he believed the warehouse was safe when he signed the lease but he was tricked and misled by the landlord. Late august the judge tossed the plea deal saying he didnt clbeing genuine. And he is weeping. He is not a tough guy. He is not a criminal he is an artist and this is destroyed hip as well as everyone else. Reporter the defenses arguing the ghost ship fire that killed 36 people was intentionally set. You are down to 39 miles an hour getting past that accident right there. Also, slow and go out of the tracy try answeringel. Once you get troy angle. Once you get out of that accident you are moving i long with the slowing on southbound 60 and southbound 8. Hoe slow and go conditions on 508 west before the toll plaza at Richmond San Rafael bridge. Construction is there in the eastbound direction as a result of lane closures. No delays there. Thats the opposite of the commute direction as well. And in northbound 101, passing through seminary and heading towards tiburon its slow going as a result of two lanes closed due to construction. With the slow down you can see the Richmond San Rafael bridge is backed up as you approach the toll plaza. Sametory at the bay bridge. That backup goes to the foot of the maze and well over the 880 flyover that you can see to the side of the screen and then beyond.
