storm systems this will be week with scattered light showers >> off and on light showers lights spread rain the strongest storm will be wednesday into thursday talking heavy rain and strong winds. we see a few cars overall a pretty nice set. at least for this portion and jumping here, we are seeing some okay speeds. traffic is a little light. but it is on the west on 580. over the center divider. and a live look right now, at the toll plaza, we are seeing a few cars loading up. but overall, it is nice as you work your way into san francisco. it isn't bad at all. this is moving nicely across this into the city. on the central coast they are planning a shutdown of a stretch of highway one. this includes mud creek and the area is prone to mudslides. these photos were taken at those spots over the weekend and you can see how easily the hillsides could give way. good news here, left lanes on montague expressway i finally open and it's blocking all west lanes on the express lane for more than 48 hours. they weren't able to finish for the commute and they say a broken drainage pipe was likely to blame. breaking news, pg&e is moving closer to filing for bankruptcy. the utility confirming that it sent out notices to staff saying it is preparing a potential bankruptcy. they require any company to alert workers 15 days before a possible change. reuters also reporting that they have open discussions about a financing package to help the chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings. meanwhile, they are searching for a new ceo. williams is stepping down after more than two years. they into the middle part of the week. we are going to be watching showers develop. so this is futurecast taking you hour by hour at him. you can see scattered showers as we go through the afternoon and for this evening you can see off and on light rain pushing in and as they go through tuesday we are going to start off the day wet. this is at 6 am with widespread rain for your tuesday morning with scattered showers and there we go for wednesday into thursday. we could see heavy rain at 4 pm. then through thursday as well. that will be the system to watch for sure. rainfall amounts for today keeping up anywhere from attempts to a quarter inch of rain as they go through tomorrow looking at about a half an inch of rain and then for wednesday into thursday check out that rainfall amount anywhere from 2.5 inches to three point five inches of rain with this mental weak system. daytime highs looking at the middle 50s. 56 in oakland, 57 fremont san jose is 58 as well as for mountain view. and here is that seven-day forecast again, scattered showers for today widespread light rain for tomorrow. especially in the morning there. the stronger storm system wednesday into thursday and we catch a break friday to saturday with another weather system for sunday. right now things are pretty dry. it is a bad choice. this is near the coliseum northbound 880 we are seeing easy speed as you work your way towards the macarthur maze. this is a pretty easy drive. all the way down into the fremont area. and if you're crossing the san mateo bridge this is between heyward and no problems, no accidents or incidents. that's the good news. this is westbound 92 from 880 over towards the 101 eastbound not seeing any delays. when you get onto the 101, traffic is flowing here is a live look at the 101. not too far from the sfo. if you have an early flight you should be good to go. checking the south bay right now, northbound 101 nice speeds as well as 280 and 880. and traffic stays like that in both directions. this slowest spot is through the altamont pass. 25 minutes from the 205 and the east shore freeway to the maze and the 101. if you want to skip the roadways everything is on time. thank you. 4:51 am. they have a solution for the driver shortage. when the bus company. and going out of business on february 1. the hundreds of drivers without jobs. and they are back there in 2014 competing. they are helping with one of the biggest problems. long wait times. they tweeted out saying with them shutting down they are offering all 300 other drivers which will help them address
