>> thank you very much. thank you. >> president trump did not answer that question, despite calls today from two republican senators, to speak out for victims of abuse. >> i would look to hear a stronger denunciation from the white house of domestic violence. >> i think he needs to send a stronger message. a stronger message. we need to allow women and men that have been abused to come out make sure their stories are >> the fbi did confirm the vast bulk of the report on rob porter was in the hand of someone at the white house back in november. america a's top officials were on capitol hill, warn congress, moscow is targeting the midterm elections and the u.s. is unprepared for that assault. here is jeff pegues. >> reporter: dan coats said russia is working to disrupt this year's midterm elections. >> we need to inform the american public this is real. this gigs to be happening and resilience needed for us to stand up and say we are not going to allow some russian to tell thu us how to vote. how we ought to run our country. i think there need to be a national cry for that. >> senate democrats said that national cry needs to begin with president trump. >> i belief he feels that he and russia did not meddle in the election. as to whether i believe it or not. have they asked you to blunt russian activities ongoing. >> we're taking a lot of specific efforts to blunt. >> russian efforts. >> by the president? >> not specifically directed by the president. >> reporter: in 2016, russian hackers targeted voter systems in 21 states. there is still no coordinated national strategy to counter similar russian operations this year. the department homeland of security, suggested security clearances so they can be fully briefed. sources described the initial federal involvement as bizarre and waste of time. do you disagree with that? >> the victims tend to be el educated, unfortunately have emotional vulnerability. >> shapiro says romance crimes are rising as online dating popularity increases. in 2016, 15% of american adults said they used an online dating website or app. >> after a relationship is established, a scammer will send gifts. poetry. flowers. and then makes long term plans. such as going on lavish vacation or, or marriage proposals. >> what do you say to the individual who thinks i could never fall victim to this kind of thing? >> yeah, safe to say. our card category overall, it has been stable. >> lindsay roy is hallmark's chief marketing officer and says in terms of card spending. millenials are the fastest growing group. because when they buy cards, they spend more money on them. >> we have seen that millenials are greg into that magic life stage for card sending. maybe setting up household or having kids or doing things that really just expand your relationships. >> millenials are hitting a sweet spot? >> thank you very much. thank you. >> president trump did not answer that question, despite calls today from two republican senators, to speak out for victims of abuse. >> i would look to hear a stronger denunciation from the white house of domestic violence. >> i think he needs to send a stronger message. a stronger message. we need to allow women and men that have been abused to come out make sure their stories are >> the fbi did confirm the vast bulk of the report on rob porter was in the hand of someone at the white house back in november. america a's top officials were on capitol hill, warn congress, moscow is targeting the midterm elections and the u.s. is unprepared for that assault. here is jeff pegues. >> reporter: dan coats said russia is working to disrupt this year's midterm elections. >> we need to inform the american public this is real. this gigs to be happening and resilience needed for us to stand up and say we are not going to allow some russian to tell thu us how to vote. how we ought to run our country. i think there need to be a national cry for that. >> senate democrats said that national cry needs to begin with president trump. >> i belief he feels that he and russia did not meddle in the election. as to whether i believe it or not. have they asked you to blunt russian activities ongoing. >> we're taking a lot of specific efforts to blunt. >> russian efforts. >> by the president? >> not specifically directed by the president. >> reporter: in 2016, russian hackers targeted voter systems in 21 states. there is still no coordinated national strategy to counter similar russian operations this year. the department homeland of security, suggested security clearances so they can be fully briefed. sources described the initial federal involvement as bizarre and waste of time. do you disagree with that? >> the victims tend to be el educated, unfortunately have emotional vulnerability. >> shapiro says romance crimes are rising as online dating popularity increases. in 2016, 15% of american adults said they used an online dating website or app. >> after a relationship is established, a scammer will send gifts. poetry. flowers. and then makes long term plans. such as going on lavish vacation or, or marriage proposals. >> what do you say to the individual who thinks i could never fall victim to this kind of thing? >> yeah, safe to say. our card category overall, it has been stable. >> lindsay roy is hallmark's chief marketing officer and says in terms of card spending. millenials are the fastest growing group. because when they buy cards, they spend more money on them. >> we have seen that millenials are greg into that magic life stage for card sending. maybe setting up household or having kids or doing things that really just expand your relationships. >> millenials are hitting a sweet spot?
