The bay bridge bird wore a custommade backpack as it waddled down the street. [ laughter ] i am thinking, they look ridiculous. But very festive. A look at the latest for the weather. Some changes tonight. A meandering low works over the bay area, but starting off with the good news, tomorrow looks good for the final day, the fourth round of the proam in pebble beach. 62 degrees for the golfers under partly cloudy skies. Wind advisories are posted through midnight tonight. At the highest elevations we could see gusts as high as 50 miles per hour. In general, the winds have been below that, up to 30 around santa rosa. This is the this week will be the tale of the wobbling low, which, by tomorrow night, will be over the california oregon border. Then it will begin to subside south. Basically, its riding down the eastern side of that persistent High Pressure. It will be off of southern california, Point Conception by tuesday morning, and then decide to head out to sea where we will find it set up by wednesday morning at 9. You would think low pressure meandering over california. Gee, it means rain. It doesnt. Maybe a sprinkle or two. Thats about it. There is no moisture tap for this one. And with that High Pressure basically knocking the breath out of anything coming off the ocean, we will look for things to be cooler and windy tonight. In terms of rain, as you will see in a minute, not much. It was a mild day. Mountainview 71. San jose and santa rosa as we look live over the city, the readings into mostly the 60s. Out the door a chilly start sunday morning. Chilly but sunny, but not for long. Later in the day we will get clouds and the numbers are 10 degrees cooler tomorrow than they were today. So thats a big change. That low pressure is lowering the heights in the atmosphere. Here is the futurecast. Clear through sunrise and then the high clouds come from the north bay. Watch late in the day, there could be a drop or two, but thats all it would amount to. Not much in the way of rain. Clear and cool. A tiny chance of a sprinkle tomorrow. No real chance of rain this coming week. Snowpack suffers as a result. We are only a quarter or less than that of average to this point in the season. Heading out of the bay area, mendocino partly cloudy, but rain in eureka. Overnight lows mid30s to mid 30s and daytime highs tomorrow, that veil of high clouds tomorrow afternoon, only in the low 60s. In the extended forecast, you are going to be looking for numbers cooler tomorrow and monday, but then by midweek they bounce back and the numbers will be in the upper 60s and by next weekend in the low 70s again. So a brief flirtation with rain, but thats about it. We will have more after a break. There are two types of people in the world. Those who fear the future. And those who embrace it. The future is for the unafraid. Closed captioning brought to you by is sponsored by living spaces. These days we are all connected to tech.
