Those are some pretty serious allegations, did the police ever get involved . Reporter the Piedmont Police did not find any wrongdoing, so it went back into the districts hands. Theyre taking some actions, but hes still back in the class. The naacp has issued a highly unusual travel advisory. It says that black passengers should use caution when flying on American Airlines. Reporter it isnt a ban or a boycott, but a travel advisory by the naacp warning African Americans they could face racial discrimination, or even safety issues while flying on American Airlines. Too many African Americans have opinion victims of mistreatment. Reporter dr. Amos brown says they picked up a pattern of of mistreatment against African Americans earlier this year. Including passengers who got booted from flights or bumped to other seats. I feel a lot of it has been emanating, from unfortunately the president of the United States of america. Reporter experiencing bias on a flight, and now refuse to fly american. They had smiles for everybody else. Reporter the ceo of American Airlines says hes disappointed by the advisory, and sent a letter to employees saying we fly over borders, walls, and stereotypes to connect people from different religiouses, backgrounds, and sexual orientations. We make the world a smaller place. It has me on alert. Reporter shes not had any dips, but says she will watch out. Even though i am an american member, i am going to take it seriously, and it may affect my decision on other airlines. Reporter listen and engage on the topics of racial discrimination. Nfl owners and players expect Colin Kaepernick to talk next week. Last week, he was invited to a special meeting with a group of owners, and players, but he did not attend. Ten days ago, kaepernick filed a grievance with the league saying teams colluded to keep him from playing. The next meeting is tuesday. There is no word if kaepernick will attend. People who lost their homes lined up to get help. With dams in hand, documents in hand, homeowners lined up. This center gives them the opportunity to complete the form. Reporter elizabeth, the school board, the School Board President , the superintendent, all of them realize they cant get these schools back open, if they dont have the teachers, and the staff, and the support in place to do so. They cant have those people in place if they dont have a place to rest their heads, so they found one for them. Its the first day back for pinier High School History teacher zoe miller, and shes returning to more than just a classroom. My home away from home. Its actually kind of nice, because ive got familiar things that ive collected. Reporter her real home burned in the tubbs fire. Thanks to a fast acting friend, her family has a place to stay. As do most displaced teachers in the school district. The board made sure of it. The challenge for them is to really be together and have dealt with their emotional issues around this, that they can help students do that. I dont think you can do that while couch surfing. Reporter she and the superintendent made sure that the fema process was started for the staff. She got the head of the apartment administration to give them advanced availability announcements on rentals. Two other Board Members are talking about freeing them up for housing. As teachers who have been affected by this. Whether we lost our houses or were evacuated, or have friends, we have to be upright. We is have to, we have to be able to function and be supported in order to support children who are much more fragile. Reporter in Santa Rosa City schools, almost 80 teachers lost their homes. Only 22 still need a place to stay. So while successful thus far, the school board says it wont stop until everyone has a home, and a place to prepare for the school days ahead. Oh, yeah. Im terrified. I think friday will probably be the worst teaching day of my entire life, and its nothing to do with the kids being badly behaved. Its, i dont know how to get through this. Now the fbi is offering a reward for up to 10,000 for information. Sherry says the first woman is hispanic about 55 with a medium build. Later that day, her husband keith came home from work to an empty house. Usually sherry and the kids would be home from daycare by then. Thats when he called 911. The kids were never picked up. So i got freaked out. I hit the find my app thing. It showed her phone at the end of the driveway. I just drove down there. She started running again. I found her phone, its got hair ripped out of it in her headphones. So im totally freaking out. Sherry was found 22 days lateron thanksgiving day. She flagged down a driver. She was bound with restraints at the time. Sherrys husband says she was just 87 pounds when she was found, amend that her long blonde hair had been chopped off. The sheriff had said its not clear whether she was specifically targeted, or if this was a random abduction. Stanford University Investigating another reported rape on campusment it allegedly happened on the east side of campus early monday morning. Police say the victim and the suspect knew each other. According to University Crime statistics, 33 rapes were reported on campus last year. In 2015, there were 25. That includes the one involving brock turner. Officials say the gun was never shown in a threatening way. The student now faces disciplinary action. A brother of las vegas gunman Stephen Paddock is now behind bars. He was arrested for possession of child pornography. He was arrested in north hollywood. The investigation started back in 2014, but Police Caught up with him at a nursing home today. Paddock was taken into custody in a wheel choir. An lapd spokesperson says the arrest is unrelated to his brothers las vegas mass shooting. A third day in the trial of that undocumented immigrant charged with killing kate steinle featured testimony from Law Enforcement officers who processed the crime scene. The police diver who found the handgun used to kill steinle took the stand today. He says the weapon was wedged between a boulder and a concrete pier in the murky waters off pier 14. Two other officers also testified. Jose garcia faces a maximum sentence of 15 years to life in prison. His attorney claims that the shooting was accidental. A tsa worker was sentenced today for smuggling cocaine through sfo. Jeremy beckham received 18 months in federal prison. Other tsa agents have been charged for turning a blind eye to drugs like coke, and meth. Pleading guilty to receiving a bribe as a public official. He was a supervisor screener at sfo.
