Once again involving an air canada flight and a questionable landing. The faa tells us air Traffic Control cleared flight 781 to land on runway 28r last night. They then instructed the crew to execute a go around since it wasnt sure another plane would be clear of the runway. The air canada crew didnt acknowledge the instructions, so a supervisor used a red light gun to alert the crew. The air canada jet landed safely and told the tower they had a radio problem. The faa is investigating. Seconds of crashing into 2 other planes full of passengers. Ot almost landed back in july an air canada jet came within seconds of crashing into two other planes full of passengers when the pilot almost landed on the taxiway. That plane made a go around and also landed safely. And now Sexual Assault claims at one of San Franciscos priciest gyms. Heres more on the yoga lesson the man says hell never forget. Reporter collin has done roughly 1,000 hours of yoga in his lifetime, but it was a few months ago at this equinox gym in San Francisco that he says he got a yoga lesson hell never forget. As soon as he walked in he asked me to spread my legs against the wall. Um, its not related to any yoga pose ive ever done. Reporter he said a yoga teacher took a sudden interest in him no august. First he said there was an inappropriate touch that happened in class. He cupped my testicles and i didnt see that coming and didnt know quite what to think, but i also wouldnt presume it was anything more than a horrific accident. Reporter but he said when he was offered private lessons after class, the touching turned to Sexual Assault. A letter written to the gym said there was unwanted contact of his genitals and buttocks, and unusually prolonged physical contact. Thats when i noticed i guess what i would describing as a bulge in his pants. Reporter collin complained to equinox and filed a police report. Police warned him it would be tough to prosecute even though Surveillance Video captured the yoga lesson. The sergeant said the actions he viewed on the camera reflected incredibly unprofessional bizarre activities by the instructor. Reporter police also told collin the instructor has been fired, but declined to bring charges against them, and thats when equinox called and dealt collin another blow. Youre banned from the gym. Were terminating your membership. Reporter collins lawyer says its a classic case of retaliation. You cant blame the victim, and thats exactly what theyre doing. Thats what the me too movement is all about. Reporter collin filed a lawsuit saying that equinox needs to better train staff and cease terminating the memberships of people that chain about sexual harassment. In a statement equinox said they investigated the allegations along with police and found them to be unfounded. We intend to defend vigorously against the claims in the lawsuit. Victims of the fire packed a News Conference where city, state, and federal officials announced their goal of finishing the work by early next spring. But first, the federal epa will do a sweep to get toxic materials out from burned homes. Were talking about batteries, paints, chemicals, and pesticides. Once it clears properties, the army core of engineers will move into neighborhoods, and with the homeowners permission remove all of the ash and debris. The soil will also need to be tested. Were asking no one do large scale debris removal until we have a chance to make sure that the way the debris is being removed is the best way to manage hazardous material. We dont want people to fill up a dump truck and had lots of Hazardous Materials in it, and it go down the highway. Reporter there was much uncertainty and frustration from people that lost their homes over who would pay for the clean up. First and foremost were not going to charge you for the clean up. If you have insurance with a clause for debris, well be looking to collect that. Reporter the county will also collect any insurance payments left over after rebuilding. The office of Emergency Services assured that this would not effect homeowners ability to rebuild. Im encouraging you to join into this partnership and opt into the clean up process. With 2 passengers in the backseat tonight the search is on for a suspect that shot an uber driver in the middle of a busy bay area freeway with two passengers in the backseat. It happened last night on westbound 380 in san bruno. You can see a bullet shattered a rearview mirror. Police have yet to find the driver of the carried with bullorthe shooter. Investigators believe the uber driver was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Read uber released a statement saying quote we have reached out to the driver and her riders to check on their well being. We stand ready to help investigators and urge anyone that can help catch the suspects to come forward. The driver was taken to the hospital, but is expected to be okay. Two daredevils who climbed the top of the Golden Gate Bridge are learning their punishment. The two guys from wisconsin climbed the cables last april then posted the stunt on social media. They have now settled their criminal case. They agreed to a plea deal involving community service, fines, and fees, but theyre still facing a civil lawsuit by the bridge district. Tonight the military says the American Task force in niger faced an onslaught of gun fire and rocket propelled grenades for nearly two hours. And santa rosa schools are opening in phases. Every school was damaged in the fires. A team of 200 people have been cleaning the ruined class rooms around the clock for the past week and a half. We actually had whats called a hygienist from a Laboratory Come in and sample before we cleaned, then we used hepa vacuums and washing and pressure washing, and then the hygienist comes back in and tests again. 11 schools are set to reopen this friday and another 13 on monday. One of the schools that was badly damaged is Cardinal Newman high school, but tonight their Football Team was back on the field. Kpix 5 was there for kickoff. Football means a lot to his team. Now its everything. Its the one thing we all have left for some of us. There were five or six of us that dont have a house, so football is all we have. We talked to the kids and they said we have to get started. Its our senior year, and the principal agreed and were really excited to be here tonight.
