Crews made contact with 12year old Frieda Sophia around midday. She is talking and has oxygen and water after being trapped for 36 hours. A boy and a girl were pulled through a crack in the wall. [ speaking spanish ] reporter this young boy says he escaped by crawling over a pile of concrete after the main exit of his school was blocked by falling bricks. They are the lucky ones. 25 classmates and teachers died there. You might be wondering, how do these crews do it working for hours and hours on end . People are saying that we have been treating this particular Student Group differently. Theyre right. Because not in anybodys recent memory have so many people spent so much time trying to support a small Student Group in holding successful events. Reporter this ucberkeley spokesman wouldnt comment on the complaint which he said he hasnt seen but he said the university has tried to work with the berkeley patriot only to have the group miss deadlines and fail to provide a full list of speakers. On facebook a provocateur reporter Milo Yiannopoulos has promoted an appearance by steve bannon in a text message one of the event organizers saying, ann coulter, steve bannon and others are confirmed but provided no proof. The views expressed by steve bannon and ann coulter and Milo Yiannopoulos are about bigotry, et cetera. The Worlds Largest Oil Companies are now being sued by two bay area cities. The legal fight centers on climate change. San francisco and oakland filed separate lawsuits. They claim the companies knew their actions would contribute to Sea Level Rise but never change course. The firms named in the lawsuit are chevron, conocophillips, exxonmobil, shell, bp. Both cities are pushing for billions in compensation to cover past and potential flooding, coastal erosion and property damage. Many fossil fuel companies were aware of these effects. It continued to profit at the expense of residents. Just like big tobacco, big oil knew the truth long ago. The suit suggests public and private properties along the bay face serious risks. A man accused of running over two San Leandro Police officers appeared in court. 57yearold terry gordon faces charges including attempted murder and assault. Police were trying to stop him after he allegedly stole from a Safeway Grocery store over the weekend. They say gordon ran to his car and struck officers as he fled in the car. The officers were taken to the hospital for treatment. Gordon is being held at santa rita jail in dublin. Newly released Surveillance Video could provide clues to a murder in San Francisco that has gone unsolved for months.
