So, every night, i was just trying something. Just anything i could think of. And i was then, you know, go out there, audience wouldnt laugh, and i was like, tomorrow. [ light laughter ] and then and then one night i went out there and i said the line and just the house went down. Jimmy you killed it. Killed. And i was like, oh, i found it. This is such a good feeling. [ laughter ] and i just, like and so, then, of course, i leaned into it, because you do. And so, i lean into it and im just the audience is losing their minds. I look into the wings. The cast is losing their minds. Im high fiving myself in my head. [ laughter ] im just like, ive arrived. This is happening. Jimmy yes. And i get offstage and im just like, well and they go, did you see the raccoons . [ laughter ] and im like, the ra the ra what . And then they just go, behind you. As soon as you came on stage, a a family of raccoons came out. They were so cute we couldnt focus on the scene because the raccoons were so cute. So, i was like, well, actually high five to the raccoons. [ laughter and applause ] jimmy see, youve got to work with everybody. Absolutely. Jimmy youve got to work you play well with others. So heres the thing. My husbands first proposal was so confusing. [ laughter ] i didnt know what was happening. We were on the day before, i had been looking at rings, and i tried one on. I was like, it kind of looks like an Engagement Ring almost. I dont think im going to get it. So, then he got me this ring. So, i was like, oh, thanks. [ laughter ] i didnt it didnt, sort of, cross my mind. And then there was a strange speech. [ laughter ] and i was we were just, sort of, sitting there. He had paused, whatever, the bachelor, and i was just, sort of, like, okay. And i was like, are you do you are we were not breaking up . He was like, no, no, no. [ laughter ] so, i said, okay. And then i was like, well, thank you. Lovely. Good chat . And then three days later, we went to meet his family for christmas. And he said, were engaged. [ laughter ] i said, are we . Oh. Oh. Jimmy what . It was so confusing. I didnt know jimmy and you were like, are we . Wait, when did that happen . I said, oh. I was like, do i tell my friends . And he said, of course. But it was so confusing. And then i said, thats not usually what a proposal is like. People usually understand [ laughter ] that that its happening. Jimmy at least one person understands it. So since then hes been very cute, and hes been proposing to me over and over. [ audience aws ] which is very sweet. And he did one on my birthday in slovakia that was so cute. And he gave me all these little gifts. And he was going to take me out for dinner and do it at dinner, but our daughter was like, give her the ring, dad. [ laughter ] wheres the ring . I will, i will. Jimmy i want to talk about your new peacock series, the tattooist of auschwitz, based on a bestselling novel, inspired by a true story. Yes. Jimmy can you tell everyone what the story is about. Well, this woman called heather morris, who is a a new zealand woman. So i get to play a a new zealander in the series. Shes who i play. Met an elderly holocaust survivor in melbourne, in 2003, and started recording his testimony and his story and his memories. And then she wrote a book that became a best seller. So, in her midlife, she found out she was really great at writing and she wrote this beautiful story, which was about lales time in auschwitz, where he also met the love of his life.
