Were learning a man wanted in multiple cities on multiple warrants in the bay area has been arrested in San Francisco. Live for us in the city this midday. And ginger, to understand that suspect has been wanted for some years now. Reporter well, marcus sf pd has been looking for him for quite some time. That search is now over. Weve learned this morning sfpd arrested moore a couple weeks ago for a homicide that dated back in 2022, another that dated in 2023, both of them happening on the unit block of turk street in San Francisco. Now, youre seeing some video from the 2023 crime scene when sf pd officers responded to a shooting just past 1 30 in the morning. They found a man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a hospital but succumbed to life threatening injuries. Another crime scene that sfpd also believe involved moore. This one happened eight months prior october of 2022 when officers who were responding to a shot spotter activation on Market Street found a man suffering from gunshot wounds also on the unit block of turk. That man later succumbed to his injuries as well. Moore was identified as a suspect in both incidents. On february 29th moore was arrested by patrolling officers in San Francisco. He was taken into custody for an outstanding homicide arrest warrant along with an active and outstanding warrant from pittsburgh. Hes now facing multiple counts. He was also found with a firearm during his arrest. Even with arrests made sfpd is still saying this is an open and active investigation. Well, developing now a case against a suspect accused in the deadly stabbing of a tech executive is coming front and center in the San Francisco courtroom. Now lee is the founder of cash app. According to Court Documents this happened during a dispute over the sister. Todays hearing is focusing on a change of venue request from the defense. Police are announcing the arrest following a deadly stabbing of a woman at a San Francisco home. This is some video from our nbc bay area sky ranger showing a man taken into custody wednesday. This is all following a pursuit through the city into oakland. Investigators say wilson killed the victim at that home at appleten avenue in ingleside district. That victim pronounced dead at the hospital. That suspect faces homicide and burglary charges. Theres so far no word what led to that killing. A major freeway shutdown this weekend in the east bay sure to cause some confusions and delays, so heres what you need to know. Caltrans is closing southbound 680 in pleasanton starting tonight at 9 00. The stretch between 586 connector and 484 will close. Caltrans says the closure will replace a portion of the deteriorating roadway with new pavement. The agency says this full weekend closure will actually allow them to accomplish the same amount of work they would get done during 40 nighttime closures. Now, businesses in that area they say theyre not too happy about this especially because its happening during st. Patricks weekend. People in the south bay heading to dublin for activities will feel that impact. The owner says this weekend was supposed to be their Opening Party but of course this weekends closure changed that. We have that control, Traffic Control that continues here that does restrict traffic flow because of the repair going on and at the top of the screen we have dublin where we talked about the people going up there and returning south, they would hope. Not on 680 because that closes tonight. The purple is the closure in the southbound lanes, scheduled to reopen early monday morning. Your alternate routes, the yellow arrows take you east over toward liver manufacture, this is where you jump in and drive in back down 680. 238 and down to nemitz, busy for this project on the road. This one is impacting bart riders thin east bay but extending the impacts to those heading over to sfo. We have major track work taking place between richmond and el cerrito del norte stations. That means the red lines will be canceled and have three buses connected to those stations. A big impact for people traveling from the richmond area down to sfo. You would simply take the orange line train and then transfer to a yellow line train to get to the airport. So there is still a way to get to where youre going, but youre going to have to adapt. I want you to look. Its this small section up here between richmond and del norte station impacting the track itself. But then from richmond that influence because of the shift and the changes and absence of the red line, it actually does impact as jim said people going to sfo. From the east bay over to the peninsula theres one impact and talked about southbound 680 with that closure which will send folks over 84 as well. Marcus, theres a lot going on this weekend. A judge is allowing fani willis to stay on as prosecutor in the racketeering case against former President Donald Trump but only if she removes nathan wade from the case. Trump is accused of trying to overturn the states 2020 election results. One of trumps allies also in the case said willis had a conflict of interest when she hired and paid a man whom she was having an intimate relationship with. Willis can also make the decision to leave the case herself, but thats highly unlikely. A judge also ruled theres no actual conflict brought about by that relationship. Well, the death toll is expected to rise. This is after deadly storms rolled through the midwest overnight. At least three people have been reported dead. Well, only on nbc bay area, a san jose family now suing a former neighbor whose child is on the autism spectrum. It claims the child is so disruptive, he should be declared a nuisance. The family of the 12yearold says hes nonverbial and can only communicate through grunts. His mother says she and her son actually moved out of that home where they were renting in the area with their family. This is all because of those complaints. But the child has continued to visit his grandparents at that home. That lawsuit calls for a judge to ban him from that area. Theyre also alleging emotional distress. In the counter suit the childs mother says those neighbors comments about her son are unacceptable. It was deeply offensive. I think that the issue is the level of understanding for this form of autism. Since covid weve seen a lot more what i would call crazy lawsuits, meanspirited lawsuits. Now, the original lawsuit also claims that there are frequent loud parties at that home with amplified music. Nbc bay area was unable to reach the neighbor who filed the suit, but the lawyer told us offcamera that that complaint speaks for itself. Well, turning now to decision 2024.
