I feel absolutely honored to be next to something so monumental. I just want to give a shoutout to my commander. You know, if it wasnt for them, i wouldnt be here today. It is an honor, and a lot of things that came from this, im extremely excited to be here and represent the marine corps. Reporter a lot of those lifesaving skills honed right here in fleet week. Its sumner San Francisco, even though calendar says october and fall. Right. But the best kind of weather for that viewing, especially today and tomorrow, as we take a live look over the city. Mt. Tam in the distance, not a cloud in the sky. But of course we have to take all of this beauty with a little bit of caution. One, the niners are undefeated. Theyre going up against the dallas cowboys, who have only lost one game this season. You have two very good teams competing. And then their fan bases, theyre very loyal to their respective teams, so it will be a lot of interest. There are a few games every season that stick out, and this would be one of those games. The nation will be watching 49ers and cowboys on sunday night football here on nbc bay area. All eyes will be on brock purdy. Hes 101 as the 49ers starting quarterback. His only loss was a playoff game in philadelphia where he got hurt last season. Every possession and down means a lot, and so in this kind of game, we have really good, you know, defenses on both sides of the ball. Its, like, man, how can you eliminate the turnovers. Play smart. When you get in the red zone, you have to execute and be willing to actually score touchdowns. Obviously, field goals are great and getting points is great, but to win these games, we have to score touchdowns. Weve looked back years and years, and whoever won this game in the playoffs would go on to the super bowl. These are two of the most storied franchises in history. Dallas win a lot of games, 49ers win a lot of games, so when you get to meet up on sunday night football, its a big deal. Fan bases love it. We love it. Overall, it will be a fantastic football game. Reporter of course that is george kittle, the niners star tight end. He believes that the cowboys will be the best team that the niners have gone up against thus far this season. And now whats being called the Largest Health care strike in history. 75,000 kaiser workers are across six states and washington, d. C. , are striking, but about half of the total located here in northern california. Those striking blame the postponement on the executives and their stubborn negotiations. Well, some surprising news this morning. The Labor Department announcing 336,000 new jobs were added to the American Economy in september. Economists rr expecting a lower number, and as scott mcgrew explains, much lower. Good morning. 170,000, thats what they figured. Higher than that, say 200,000, that would be a sign more Interest Rate hikes could be necessary to slow the economy down and slow inflation. As youve said, we got more than 300,000. 336,000 jobs. Statisticians look back at some of the previous months estimates and revise those upwards as well. I mean, that should fundamentally be good news, and it is good news for the American Family on that level. Lots of jobs, lots of employment. But the fed is trying to slow the economy down, not grow it.
