And the San Joaquin Valley actually has no icu beds available. Marin and san mateo in the red zone. They have less than 15 veilableability. Santa clara and solano just above that at 15 , hovering. Napa and Alameda County are doing better, theyre in the yellow at 30 beds available. Despite the ongoing covid surge Santa Clara County is reducing the amount of time a healthy person has to quarantine after potential exposure. The county says you only have to quarantine for ten days instead of the old 14. The change also applies to people who travel more than 150 miles from the county. When you come back you have to quarantine for only ten days. With only 40 of icu beds available some are asking why would they reduce the quarantine now. We constantly want to take into account all of the best science we have and find the balance between the benefit to safety of quarantine and keeping people from getting sick and the benefit of getting people back to work when its safe to do so. Prosecutors say that ducarry spires was on a date with his girlfriend at Fishermans Wharf at 2019 when police got some sort of call about an assault. They saw he and his girlfriend standing there and talking. One officer ordered spires to turn around, the other officer allegedly walked up behind spires and hit the man with a baton.
