New pressure nationwide on cities, of course, dealing with the coronavirus and actually from the calendar as well. In an interview with fellow california native katy tur, oakland mayor libby schaaf broke down the dilemma. Stimulus dollars must be spent by december 31st and the need grows larger as cases increase. Every city and state has a budget to pass and no money to reopen schools. Only the federal government has a credit card. It certainly will be a beautiful weekend ahead because we are talking about cool and comfortable conditions throughout, really a lot of sunshine, which will be good for saturday and sunday. Weve got Small Business saturday tomorrow, a big day for Small Businesses that really need this throughout the bay area. So lets take a look at what we are tracking for saturday and sunday. San francisco right now, beautiful view of the sunset there. 59 degrees. Notice the wind speeds not really a factor this afternoon. Compare that to yesterdays gusty evening at times, especially for the hill top areas. Not expecting windy conditions tonight. 59 degrees right now in san jose. I want to show you Doppler Radar because this sort of paints a picture of what were looking at ahead. Were not monitoring any rain, at least not any measurable rain for the foreseeable future. We dont have a lot of cloud cover over the bay area either. And a system just to our north is going to keep its path in the north. Wind speeds right now calm, not even breezy. The forecast into the evening hours, well start to dip into the 50s and 40s. But then its those cold morning lows that weve really been noticing throughout, so cold that weve seen some frosty conditions, especially for some of those sheltered valleys. Expect to wake up to some low 30s through ukiah, san jose, concord and livermore. Through the afternoon, good news, mostly sunshine. High pressure is going to clear out any chance of seeing clouds tomorrow morning. Temperatures will remain in the mid60s for san jose. Concord, 64. Santa rosa, 65. Pretty even temperatures throughout and over the next seven days. Longrange outlook, notice the rain chances, that green you see there on the long rain outlook is a system thats going to stay mostly north. Thats going to keep us dry. The most were going to see out of that passing system to the north is going to be an increase in some winds. It will start to get breezy again heading into monday. A couple of high clouds rolling through, aside from that pushing this outlook all the way through thursday. Any chance of rain is not likely, so although we definitely need the rain, right now our model runs are not showing signs of rain, definitely not through the end of november. Over the next seven days, notice how on monday evening well start to pick up again when it comes to the breezy conditions. Anytime we see breezy conditions, were still monitoring elevated fire danger. Santa ana winds still going pretty strong down in southern california. Well notice the wind picking up again, especially for the mountain areas on monday. This weekend, cold start tomorrow. Personally my favorite. I love bundling up to those chilly morning lows with my cup of coffee. I hope you get out and support some Small Businesses heading into tomorrow. Back to you. Thank you, vianey. Coming up, the Hospitality Industry hit hard by the pandemic. A new report shows just how bad these bay area businesses are suffering. Its hard to have an invisible illness. Lik
