Fire crews clear past the bar bridge at about 3 00 this morning. I have no idea. We were trapped for about eight or nine hours. This bridge was on fire so we could not get out. Reporter the bear fire erupted last night barrelling through the county of berry creek. We saw dozens of houses destroyed. More are still in danger as flames continue to flare up in the area. We ran. Everybody ran. Reporter these men lost their homes and two of their dogs. Their pup jack survived, shes okay. The family did not have a chance to grab my belongings and not even a change of clothes. It is the scariest thing i have ever been, i dont think i have been trapped between two flames in my life. I cant everyone imagine it. Reporter more rescue in the creek fire. This is in the National Air Force at fresno. The National Guard says more than 140 people were rescued yesterday alone. Over the week, more than 200 others saved. That fire sparked on friday night, it consumed more than 153,000 acres. Close to 400 buildings and homes have been destroyed by the flames.
