Passengers that we talked to tonight say they are uneasy about the possibility of coming into close contact with one of those infected officers. The travel industry as a whole has been impacted by the spreading coronavirus, and it now includes airport workers at sjc. The tsa confirming three of its officers have tested positive for covid19. Yeah, that can spread. So i mean id worry about it. Reporter the agency saying three employees are receiving medical care and all the tsa workers they came into contact with over the past 14 days are quarantined at home. No word on how many passengers those officers screened. I still need to travel, so the most the least i could do is just be careful, wash my hands. Reporter the tsa saying in part, screening checkpoints remain open, and the agency is working with the cdc as well as the California Department of Public Health and the Santa Clara CountyPublic Health department to monitor the situation as well as the health and safety of our employees and the traveling public.
