Police say a person was standing on the balcony outside their hotel room on the second floor when the cross bolt passed their head and hit the wall next to them. But according to the Contra Costa County registrar of voters it probably happened because of a glitch in the dmv system. Its where voters select a Party Preference. Reporter in Contra Costa County the no Party Preference category is the Fastest Growing group when it comes to politics. The kellys arent in that category. They are lifelong democrats. When they discovered their Party Affiliation had been switched from democrat to no Party Preference, they were confused. We were thinking what is going on, this is crazy. Reporter according to Contra Costa County registrar of voters the confusion dates back to april 2018 when the state rolled out itsing automatic Voter Registration system. If a voter failed to check their Party Preference while registering at the dmv the system presumes that they didnt want to have any Party Preference, so it wiped out the previous preference and changed it to no preference. Reporter that computer glitch affected tens of thousands of voters statewide. If it happened to you, its not too late to make the change. Now were inviting everyone who has this no preference on the record to let us know that thats what they want. Or not. Hes been identified as 21yearold leones munoz from milpitas. She was on the run for more than a week but tonight she is in jail, accused of hitting a barber with her car. Police say Ruby Delgadillo hit brian martin with her car after he gave her son a haircut that she didnt like. She says he cut her son. Martin works at the delta barbershop in antioch. Rainfall but definitely not big totals. Thats because the bulk of the stormy activity is right up here into washington and also oregon. The storm track is just to our north. As these storms pass off to our north were getting the bottom edge moving in and thats going to keep the chance here of some on again off again rain chances over the next few days. Its a little bit of a warmer flow coming in from the south. So our temperatures really not extremely cold. Wl be more of some mild temperatures here as you move into those next three days. He lets get you into storm ranger mobile doppler radar. Nothing new to speak of. Spotty rain. Well take you down here toward San Francisco. A little bit of the shower activity moving into oakland. But the thing i really want you to be thinking about is something weve had the problem with lately, and that is fog. The ground is so wet that as temperatures cool off they reach their condensation point and we get these tyny little water droplets forming. Thats known as fog. So its going to be very dense and isolated. If you live in the hills or the mountains youd have a better chance of possibly seeing some of that for tomorrow morning. And youll see some of that visibility reducing in santa rosa to 1 1 4 mile. Not that bad in concord and livermore but once again be on alert for that tomorrow morning. We have the chance of spotty showers for the commute, also some of that fog and overall nothing in the way of sunshine to start. Temperatures in the 50s in the south bay over to the trivalley.
