The findings will teach us more about what happens in space, how it affects the weather here on earth, specifically what causes things like heat waves and drought. Right up jeff ranieris alley. I love that. I was like keep reading. I love that. A video. All this stuff. Sun, were not going to see a whole lot of that tomorrow. Were certainly not in a drought. We do have the rainfall moving back in wp were g tooing get you ready for the incoming storm. These latest storms definitely have kept us out of a drought. So that is the good news. Well get you into storm ranger on mobile doppler radar. And we have cleared out for many of those showers we had through today. But the problem were getting into right now is weve had so much rain recently theres a lot of lowlevel moisture down near the surface. Temperatures cooling off right now. Its going to help some condensation to form which would aid in some ground fog. Thats the thing a lot of your weather apps arent really picking up on. The developments of that fog right now. But i can show it to you on our fog map here. Down to a quarter mile less visibility in santa rosa, fourmile visibility in concord and three in livermore. Its that patchy dense fog where youre driving, its okay, you head up over some hills, you hit some of that dense fog and visibility gets reduced. Be ready for some of that fog by tomorrow morning and then ill help get you out the door a little easer. Alsoet the jacket maybe the heavier jacket. Its going to feel like december as we start off tomorrow morning. Down to 49 here for the south bay. Peninsula 51 and the trivalley at 48. I want to make sure i give you this birds eye perspective of what were dealing with. And our storm system by 1 1 00 p. M. On thursday is developing into the pacific. What were going to see happen is not something we often get here in the bay area. Normally a lot of times we just get the cold front passing through but whats different about friday and saturday is we get the cold front on friday for some heavy rain and gusty winds and then the center of the storm systems going to also pass over the west and impact our weather as we head through saturday. Its like this onetwo punch here for us. And thats why we could get into some higher rainfall totals with our storm. Things thick up by 1 00 p. M. On friday. The yellow with some heavy rain moving into about santa rosa. I think by about 4 00 in the afternoon it moves down to about east bay and San Francisco, maybe not much of anything in san jose by 4 00 p. M. On friday. But nonetheless as that storm starts to crank up on friday winds will be gusting up. Ite to switch it on over to the wind forecast. It will be about 20 to 45 Miles Per Hour as that storm sta tdow could have some damage as well. Lets head back to the future cass, and you can see as we continue through fridays forecast rain stays with us. Also into saturday as well. So totals where i think well get hit the hardest, Santa Cruz Mountains two to three inches. Also for the north bay two to three inches. Peninsula east bay were looking at about an inch, maybe an inch and a half. San jose half inch to about 3 4 of an inch. Extended forecast shows this really well. You can see that dense patchy fog possible tomorrow. Our storm on friday 1 00 to 4 00 p. M. Arrives, hangs out on saturday, and the new information im seeing right now. S there is the possibility of torm showed you starts to pass over saturday. So that could get a little bit interesting for us. I think by midd
