The largest area is in the north bay and includes the area where the kincaid fire is burning right now, including calistoga and windsor and healdsburg and the southern part of marin county, san rafael and novato. Reporter during its halloween event saturday night someone robbed and attacked a guest at the park. But rumors started to spread that it was an active shooter, and the park erupted in chaos. There is, you know, some hysteria, there is folks running. There is a general fear for folks. Reporter the teenager jumped over a 15foot fence and severely sprained her ankle trying to get away. They received 200 911 calls believing there was an active shooter, so Police Arrived thinking there was a gunman. They werent able to respond to the panic. Reporter the mother of that injured teen says employees didnt know what to do. There were reports that some guests were even left on the rides as the operators ran to safety. Others said there were no emergency exits to escape through. It sent everyone into a panic and nobody knew what to do. And then there was no eyegress. It grew with the publics fear. Which is understandable to a certain point. It kind of grew and kind of spiralled out of control for this incident. Took a life of its own. Absolutely. That was Damian Trujillo reporting. Reporter she set to work rebuilding it almost exactly the way it was, save a few meaningful touches, like the redwood from the deck coming from a tree from the property that didnt survive the fire. But the best touch of all, beth thought, would to be have these women from minnesota back as the rebuilt homes very first guests. For free, of course. Its got a sophisticated finish for chardonnay.
