A young tech worker killed when the driver of a stolen car running from police hit the ride share car she was in. Carol major 28 years old on sunday morning as police in the suspect crashed into the uber she was riding in. They had broken off when the suspect started driving recklessly and ran a red light. They arrested the suspect at the crash scene for murder, dui and driving a stolen car. You got one young person that lost their life and two innocent people whose lives will never be the same who did absolutely nothing wrong and with this person with no care for them. And there was a person in the car with the ride share driver and they were seriously injured as well. Many milpitas, people were nsad it was a mash and grab robbery. This monl this mom grabbed her two young daughters and ran to a nearby complex. Everybody was running out of the door. They were pushing people really. We seen people pushing. It was just crazy. Others hid in the back rooms of stores for more than an hour after being ordered to shelter in place. They are looking the possibility the crime is linked to a similar smashandgrab hours earlier at another valliani jewelers in modesto. Today at the great mall valliani is open but you could see remnants of the smashandgrab that caused panic.
