There will be the chance of some spotty thunderstorms the next couple of days and most o afternoon. Hopefully you got outside as jessica mentioned to enjoy that beautiful weather and get you a live view here across san jose and you can see all of the blue sky that we have across the Silicon Valley and look off toward the distance. You may have seen it as you were driving out today and we have cumulous clouds and a little bit of height in them showing the instability and lets take you to the Doppler Radar and the bulk of the activity is over the sierra and look at these lightning strikes and a couple hundred here as we move into this evening with the thunderstorms continuing the worst over that region. Right down here toward Mount Hamilton and you can see on the eastern side you can see some thunderstorm activity earlier this afternoon and theres still a little bit of shower activity and we expected to stay over the Higher Elevations and well keep a close eye, of course, on that Doppler Radar. Out to the north, well see thunderstorms get close to the north bay. Its parallel with willetts moving on to the south and could bring some activity to clear lake over the next two to three hours and the bulk of it is continuing to die down right now. Well talk more about the thunderstorm chances coming up. I want to get you into tomorrow mornings forecast and the biggest change well see is the stronger ocean breeze and that fog Building Back at the coastline will be thicker so expect cooler temperatures as we move into tomorrow and more areas of that fog to start to the south bay peninsula and also the trivalley and of course, it will be thickest in San Francisco with 53 and right near the east bay at 54. I think well get that sunshine as we go through the afternoon and temperatures again are going to be cooler with that stronger ocean breeze. So instead of low 80s like we had today in the south bay we are back down to 74 in downtown san jose. Low to mid80s and we are dropping it back down to 77 in antioch and 75 in walnut creek and over in the peninsula still looks beautiful and redwood city at 70 and San Francisco we have the cooler 60s for the embarcadero and the mission and 74 in santa rosa and 70 a this. Its increasing 70 and winds out of the south at 10. Well see that touch of humidity from a storm system thats moving off to the south and beginning to develop. This is whats going to push in those thunderstorm chances again for the sierra and ails right close to the north bay. So heres what ive done on the forecast. Thursday, friday, saturday, 50 chance of some thunderstorms near the north bay and also for the east bay mountains and well keep a watch for the Higher Elevations and really for the bulk of us well be dry across the bay area. San francisco, low 70s by next 84 by and wednesday. Saturday.
