Celebrate the first ever black history month. [ laughter ] my idea. Former president barack obama attended yesterdays College Basketball game between rivals duke and North Carolina and im happy for you, really, but since you left office, youve been living like a makeawish kid. [ laughter ] i feel like you left us with an abusive stepdad and every once in a while, we get a postcard that says, italy is so beautiful, next time ill bring you. [ laughter ] [ cheers and applause ] im happy for you. According to a new book, President Trump and first lady melania were seen at maralago on thanksgiving Holding Hands and, quote, kissing, as if nobody else existed. Said trump, that was melania . [ laughter ] [ applause ] the worlds first telephone book was issued 141 years ago today, and heres what it looked like. [ laughter ] [ cheers and applause ] give me a call. Do you have a pen . One according to new research, blueberries could be as effective as medication at lowering blood pressure, so now pfizer has raised the price 1,200 . [ laughter ] [ cheers and applause ] ridesharing app, lyft, has added a new feature that directs users to walk several blocks in order to optimize the drivers pickup and dropoff locations. Hey, thats what we do, said buses. [ laughter and applause ] the late Fashion Designer Karl Lagerfeld had reportedly left a portion of his estimated 125 million fortune to his cat. Said his cat, oh, he died . [ laughter ] [ cheers and applause ] and finally, the oscars are this sunday, and everyones talking about the best movies of the past year. It was a great year for film. But i personally was starting to get excited about all the great movies that are coming out next year like this one. Take a look. This spring, see the story of the black woman who became a worldrenowned scientist and accomplished cellist and activist and a man who was white while she did it. [ laughter ] her mic was too high but i fixed it. [ laughter ] its fixed because of me. Youre doing great. White savior. [ laughter ] its got all the things white people love in movies about racism like that scene where theyre in the bar and the white person sticks up for the black person. This bar dont serve people like you. I have just as much a right to be here. Hey. Shes with me. Oh. Sorry about that, jack. Thats all right, bubba. How are the kids . Good. Theyre good. Good. Good. Great. [ laughter ] that thing where a white person works closely with a black person and is surprised to learn theyre smart. Oh, my god. You did it. [ laughter ] well, ive always been pretty good at math. Well, you should go to school for it. I did. [ laughter ] you should get a job in it. I have one. You do . Where . Here. Im your boss. You . [ laughter ] wow. Now clean this up and get me a coffee. No. [ laughter ] theres also the part where the black person very calmly eviscerates a white person in a way that makes white audiences think, that was the day racism was solved and makes black audiences think, i had to do that same [ bleep ] last week. [ light laughter ] dont forget the part where the black person bravely defies racist laws. And then the white guy steps in like hes some sort of goddamn hero. You should be ashamed of yourselves, ladies. You know its people like you who i cant go with you standing up there. Oh, okay. And one racist whos so cartoonishly racist that other racists watch this movie and say, well, at least im not that racist. Well, well, well, look at what we have here. If it aint another gobidy goo goo gogga googa doodle. A goga gago go go. [ barking ] [ barking ] from the makers of green book, hidden figures, the help, the blind side, dangerous minds, glory, cool runnings, radio, hardball, the ghost of mississippi, the principal, a time to kill, freedom riders, sunset park, the air up there, and wildcats. [ light laughter ] hey, thanks for everything. Youre welcome. Now dont you go falling in love with me. I wont. Because that doesnt test well with audiences. [ light laughter ] People Magazine says, this movie is a triumph and the black person its based on says, this is not at all how it happened. [ light laughter ] and if youre a black person hoping for the catharsis of watching a black character punch a racist, youll get the next best thing. The white guy punching a racist. If id have done that, theyd have locked me up until i died. [ light laughter ] plus, a scene where the white guy is helpful in a way that doesnt advance the cause of all black people. Just the one hes friends with. Huh . [ laughter ] it also has stuff like this. I know what its like for you. And theres nothing worse than feeling like an outsider. Like one time when i was in junior high, i got some toilet paper stuck to the bottom of my shoe and the other kids, well, you know how kids can be. They called me mr. Poop shoe. Felt like it went on for weeks, but it was actually probably only about five minutes before someone told me and i took it off, but, yeah, i understand racism. [ laughter ] featuring the scene where the white character introduces the black character to something they definitely already knew about. Im going to teach you about a Little Something called jazz. [ laughter ] and no white savior movie is complete without a white woman adopting a black person. Im here to adopt you. Adopt me . [ laughter ] im older than you. You will no longer want for anything in this world. Word. [ laughter ] bye, children. Hey, mommy, whats for dinner . Well, i guess id have to ask the chef. Chef . [ laughter ] some movies examine the complexities of Race Relations in america. This movie does not do that. But according to the root it does push a black helplessness narrative that paints black people as passive in their own history. Plus, its corny. [ laughter ] and you know this movie was written by a white person because the black person becomes friends with the racist. You know what, loretta, youre all right. Thanks, earl. For some reason, earning your respect is something im interested in. [ laughter ] white savior. In theaters this spring. And coming soon, the rosa parks story told from the perspective of a white guy who was also on the bus. Rosa and kevin. [ laughter ] hey. This seats free. [ cheers and applause ] seth we have a great show for you tonight. Hes the star of the blacklist right here on nbc. James spader is back, everybody. [ cheers and applause ] also, i will be at the keswick theater in glenside, pennsylvania, tomorrow night doing standup, so if you live thereabouts and want to come check me out, i would love to see you. Before we move on to our fantastic guests, President Trump is reportedly preparing for special Counsel Robert Mueller to issue his final report as early as next week. For more on this, its time for a closer look. [ cheers and applause ] seth after trump declared a National Emergency to bypass congress and build his border wall, 16 states filed legal challenges almost immediately. In comments to reporters this week, trump insisted he had the absolute right to unilaterally build his wall and said it was a matter of national security. We have absolute right to do that, i have an absolute right to Call National security. We need strong borders. Its an open and closed case. I was put here for security, whether its space force, which were doing today, or whether its borders. Seth space force and borders. Its pretty telling that despite the effects of climate change, gun violence and Inadequate Health care, trump thinks the biggest threats to america are Asylum Seekers and klingons. [ laughter ] i mean, hell, why not combine the two and deploy the space force to the border. [ laughter ] the national [ cheers and applause ] the National Emergency declaration is just the latest example of trumps disregard for the rule of law. Republicans have elected a guy who tramples over the constitution after spending years lecturing the rest of us about the constitution. And even though he clearly didnt mean it, trump repeatedly promised during the campaign that he would restore the rule of law. We have to restore the rule of law on our border, in our government. No matter where it is, it has to be restored. In my administration, im going to enforce all laws concerning the protection of classified information. No one will be above the law. This election will determine whether we remain a free country in the truest sense of the word or we become a corrupt Banana Republic controlled by large donors and foreign governments. Seth im sorry, real quick, can we hear that word again . Controlled by large derners. [ laughter ] seth did you mean to say donors . Why do you sound like madea . [ laughter ] thats like saying congress is going to pass a ler or reminding everyone to get out and vert. But you heard trump very clearly there, the government would not be controlled by large derners or more importantly, foreign governments. The president of the United States will put americans above everyone else, period. In his latest interviews as well as in his new book the former fbi acting director Andrew Mccabe recounts a time President Trump refused to believe information from top u. S. Intelligence officials, preferred instead to take the word of russias vladimir putin. The president said he did not believe that the north koreans had the capability to hit us here with Ballistic Missiles in the United States. And he did not believe that because president putin had told him they did not. Intelligence officials in the briefing responded that that was not consistent with any of the intelligence our government possesses. To which the president replied, i dont care. I believe putin. Seth he told american intelligence officials he believed putin over them. Say what you will about trump, he might be a criminal, but at least hes super obvious about it. [ laughter ] its like if someone asked barry bonds if he wanted to take batting practice and he said, not right now. I have to go take my steroids. [ laughter ] why on earth would you believe putin over your own intelligence officials unless you had some sort of corrupt relationship with him . Hes not exactly the most trustworthy guy. I mean, look at him. Thats the same way dexter used to smile at people when they came to strapped to a table. You trusted a guy with resting dexter face. [ laughter ] in interviews this month, mccabe has detailed the extent to which trump tried to interfere in the various investigations of him and his closest aides. For example, after trump fired james comey and mccabe took over as acting fbi director, trump tried to claim that comey was widely disliked within the fbi and he even tried to get mccabe to say he also hated comey, which was not true. The president immediately went off on a almost a gleeful description of what had happened with the firing of jim comey. And then he went on to state that people in the fbi were thrilled about this. That people really disliked jim comey and that they were very happy about this and that it was a great thing. What i was hearing from the president was not reality. It was the version of the events that i quickly realized he wished me to adopt. And he said, i heard that you were one of the people that did not support jim comey, you didnt agree with him and the decisions that hed made in the clinton case. And is that true . And i said, no, sir, thats not true. Seth trump thinks he can jedimind trick you into believing something. Hes like one of those oldtimey villains with black and white swirls for eyes. [ laughter ] you hated james comey. No, i liked him. No, you hated him. Whats wrong with your eyes . Oh, theyre transplants from a derner. [ laughter ] mccabe was worried [ applause ] mccabe was worried that the president was trying to interfere in the russia investigation, which was obviously true. In fact, trump started to install loyalists who he knew he could control. Like his recently departed acting attorney general matt whitaker. Whitaker refused to recuse himself from the russia investigation, and a few weeks ago, he even insisted the investigation was winding down. Although he seemed super nervous about it. Before you came into your current role, you were publically very critical of the special counsel investigation. Now since you have received your briefings, is there anything that youve seen or read that gives you concern about special Counsel Robert Mueller or his investigation . You know, ive been fully briefed on the investigation. And, you know, i look forward to director mueller delivering the final report, but right now, you know, the investigation is, i think, close to being completed, and i hope that we can get the report from director mueller as soon as possible. Seth look at how sweaty he is. [ laughter ] he looks like a glass of iced tea on a hot summer day. [ light laughter ] somebody put that guy on a coaster. [ light laughter ] trump installed whitaker to get the various investigations of him and his associates under control like Michael Cohen whos being investigated by the u. S. Attorney for the Southern District of new york. And this week, the New York Times reported that trump tried to get whitaker to put an ally of his in charge of the cohen investigation. The times reports that while manhattans federal prosecutors were gathering evidence on trumps involvement in hush money payments during the 2016 election, trump called former acting attorney general matthew whitaker. Quote, trump asked whether geoffrey s. Berman, the United States attorney for the Southern District of new york, and a trump ally, could be put in charge of the widening investigation according to several american officials with direct knowledge of the call. Seth so trump tried to get whitaker to interfere in the investigation of Michael Cohen. Can you imagine how much whitaker was sweating during that phone call . Probably looked like he just climbed out of a pool. [ laughter ] now, theres been speculation for months that special Counsel Robert Muellers investigation is wrapping up or winding down and its never been true. But now this week, theres new reporting that Justice Department officials are expecting muellers final report as soon as next week. And if thats the case, it could come when trump is out of the country. We have the clearest indication yet that special Counsel Robert Mueller is nearly done with his almost twoyear investigation, and that the end game here is near. Sources say the Justice Department is preparing to announce as early as next week that attorney general bill barr has received muellers confidential report. And soon after that announcement, barr will review the findings and then submit his own summary to congress. If it were released next week, it would happen as the president was in hanoi, vietnam, meeting for the second time with north Korean Leader kim jongun. Seth so, trump might be out of the country in hanoi when mueller issues his report. If that happens, theres a good chance trump just wont come back. [ laughter ] kim, you got to smuggle me back to north korea, hide me in your coat. [ laughter and applause ] how much more evidence do we need that trump was trying to obstruct justice . He told comey to shut down his investigation of michael flynn. When comey refused, he fired him. He bragged to the russians he fired comey because of the russia investigation and he tried to interfere in the investigation of Michael Cohen. The enis all over, trump is eit going to go to jail or hes going to have to resign and flee and join the space force. [ laughter ] seth this has been a closer look. [ cheers and applause ] well be right back with james spader, everybody. [ cheers and applause ] for more of seths closer looks, be sure to subscribe to late night on youtube. You can see him in backtoback episodes of the blacklist, tomorrow night at 8 00 here on nbc. Lets take a look. You were framed by a secret criminal organization. Im sorry. I misspoke. Thanks to me, the cabal is no longer secret. A multinational cabal working in the shadows to manipulate world government. Im sure they have a Wikipedia Page if you care to look. Do you have any evidence to support this Conspiracy Theory . I do. That you can present at this time . Yes. Though for the life of me, i dont understand what the rush is all about. Everyone seems so anxious to kill me. Makes you wonder. Perhaps you could enlighten me over a cocktail after my acquittal. Which is inevitable now that the evidence has arrived. Seth please welcome back to the show james spader, everyone. [ cheers and applause ] seth welcome back, james. [ cheers and applause ] and congratulations on a sixth season of the blacklist. Thank you. Seth its amazing. Youve got Glenda Jackson here tonight. Seth how exciting is that . I mean, im very excited youre here, dont get me wrong. Yeah. The best. Seth im glad. Because i want to see if shes going to talk about king lear. Seth yes, shes playing king lear. I know, i cant wait to see it. Seth youll go see it, though . Yeah, of course. I saw her in three tall women. Seth three tall women is amazing. Do you go to a lot of broadway shows . You know, i try. I mean, things are busy. Seth yeah. [ light laughter ] youre so busy, do you have time to even watch the news . Can you even do that . I dont watch the news. Seth yeah. I dont watch the news at all. I read the news. And you know, i read it every day. Seth it comes out every day. Yeah. [ laughter ] but i i dont know, i read a lot of news. You know, i dont know. It goes in cycles for me. Im having a terrible conundrum now of how to process the news. Seth yeah. Today. Seth i dont think youre alone. A lot of and so, you know, so i sometimes but i vacillate, like, in all things in my life, i have never figured out moderation in any way, shape or form. [ light laughter ] so, and its that way with the news as well, where its either for me just consuming a ton of it and trying to figure out a way to, you know, put it together and process it and get rid of it. And then that, or sometimes it just has to be a blackout. Ill skip the first section of the paper, ill go right to, you know, the later sections. Seth do you feel better on those days . In some ways. Seth yeah. [ light laughter ] i think the certain things in the news are being were seeing too much of it. Especially sometimes i succumb to the 24hour news cycle. Seth yeah. Which, im very envious of you. Because i was thinking about this tonight. You know, i was actually talking to the producer backstage about the fact that youre forced to process it. I mean, you really seth yes. [ laughter ] and in a way, its tremendously digestive. Seth oh, yeah. You can consume it. You can metabolize it then you can [ bleep ] it out. Seth yeah. [ laughter ] you know what i mean . And get rid of it. Seth yeah. And i get to [ bleep ] it out in front of an audience. Yeah. Seth right, right, right. [ cheers and applause ] fantastic. Anyway. Seth i want to talk about simpler times. Because one of my favorite things about when you come on the show, you have wonderful stories about growing up. And i want to ask you, you took a lot of family trips with your family. As you do with family trips. And i because im excited about traveling with my kids. Your family went to europe. You drive around in a vw, what, van . Van. Yeah. Seth how is that . Vw bus. Seth a vw bus. Thats so bohemian. The vanagon was the first vw van. And we didnt have a vanagon. I wanted a vanagon. It just felt great. There was a popup thing. Seth yeah. There was, you know, anything that had a fridge in it seemed great. But, you know, i yes, the vw bus was our transport. My parents were teachers, and we didnt really have much money. You know, they didnt earn very much money. But what we did have is every seven years, they got a sabbatical, which means that you get a paid vacation, basically. And they went to europe because we have cousins, italian cousins, and so wed go over to the two sabbaticals when i was growing up, that there were, we went over to europe both times. And both times we picked up a we got a van a volkswagen bus, and we drove around europe and then the volkswagen bus became our car back in the states. Seth it was such a hit that you got one in the states. No, no, that car became that bus became our car in the United States. Both times. Seth you brought it back . It was a trip to europe, and the car buying you know, we drove around [ light laughter ] seth you drove to europe to buy your car . To drive around europe. Seth yeah, no, i understand that part. Thats the normal part. [ laughter ] and then it would come back with us. Seth thats not the normal part. Then it would come back with us. Seth gotcha. And it was great because for me, these are the this was in the days sort of before seat belts. I mean, the 50s. I wasnt born when the seat belts started. But it was before it was still when they were ignoring seat belts. Seth gotcha. [ light laughter ] they had them but nobody thought they mattered. Yeah. They were something that you sort of like youre sitting on something, you want to get rid of it. But i never experienced a seat belt really, because my domain was the wayback. You know the wayback . The wayback. Thats what i had. Seth okay. Which, i think thats changed now. Seth okay, the wayback, meaning just the way back of the van . Yeah, its where the suitcases and kids go. [ laughter ] seth okay, gotcha. And youre just like and at that point, because you didnt have to be seated, belted into anything. There werent seats. The wayback was just a space for luggage, you know . And you would go back in there. Seth so you would just sit amongst the luggage . Yeah, id be, if youre in the wayback, you take a pillow. Seth yeah. You know, so youd have a pillow back there. And a bunch of suitcases up and you know, its, like, a space a little bit smaller than this. Seth yeah. So, you know, youre sort of, like, yeah seth yeah. [ laughter ] you got a pillow. Seth yeah. That doesnt look that bad. You know, i mean, its fantastic when youre a kid. Seth yeah. So that couch is the same sort of ratio seth i feel like youre trying to sell me a van right now. [ laughter ] i am. [ applause ] vans are a great fantasy. I could have lived in the wayback. Yes. Anyway, that was and also that became the last vw bus that we drove around europe and then came back and brought it back with us. That became my first car. Seth really . Yeah. And it was fantastic because i went to this school in massachusetts. It was a big, huge, sort of collegesized boarding school, but i was a day student. I lived in the next town over. I had a volkswagen bus. It was crazy, you know . [ light laughter ] seth i mean, you were like the towny kid with a bus. With a bus, yeah. Seth i mean, you must have been the coolest kid at that school. Well [ laughter ] seth yeah. [ applause ] well talk about that next time. James spader, everybody. [ cheers and applause ] the blacklist airs friday nights here on nbc. Well be right back with Glenda Jackson. [ cheers and applause ] charmin ultra soft its softer than ever. [ cheers and applause ] seth our next guest is an emmy, tony, and Academy Award winning actress, and former member of the british parliament. She can be seen next in the upcoming production of king lear, which begins previews at the cort theater on february 28th. Please welcome to the show, Glenda Jackson, everyone. [ cheers and applause ] welcome, glenda. It is an honor to have you here. Oh, what a lovely thing to say, thank you very much indeed. Seth and this is so exciting. You are playing the titular role of king lear. Yes. Seth and you have played it before. I have. I did it in london. I think it must be two years ago now. Seth two years ago, and i heard that one of the reasons why you wanted to do a gender blind performance of this play, it that ive heard you say that gender gets a little bit murkier with age. Well, when i was a member of parliament, one of my duties was, of course, to visit old peoples homes, and day centers, and things of that nature. And one of the interesting things, very interesting all around, but particularly interesting to me, was that as we get older those absolute boundaries of what constitute gender begin to fray. They begin to get a bit misty, a bit foggy. And i thought that was a very interesting aspect of king lear, because he is old. Seth and he is. [ laughter ] as am i. [ laughter ] seth but yet he is old, but certainly shakespeare doesnt give him any breaks. This is no. Well he does, actually. Seth yeah. He gives him some of the best language the world has ever read. Seth but certainly it comes in bulk. There are over 1,000 lines for this character. And i am assuming that people oftentimes ask about the stamina that you must have to be able to play that role. When i did it in london, we moved from seven shows a week to eight shows a week. And the first performance which was our eighth, the entire cast i think never left the stage because they were waiting for me to die. [ laughter ] absolutely true. Seth well, you would hate to be backstage and miss it, you know . Absolutely. Seth yeah, i mean yeah. Be a famous moment. I know that feeling. Seth yeah. You know, for those who dont know, you mentioned that you were in parliament. You, in 1991 i believe it was. 92 i was elected. Seth 92, you were a twotime Academy Award winner, and you decided to walk away from acting entirely, and serve in government. What made you make that decision . Anything i could have done at that time that was legal, that would have got rid of Margaret Thatcher and her, to my mind [ cheers and applause ] thank you. Ghastly government, i was prepared to do. Seth thats incredible because i think a lot of people talk all the time about their problems with government, but they dont actually make the sacrifice to serve. You were when she passed away, i guess its probably seven or eight years ago now. Yes. Seth she was you spoke out, and basically shared the same feelings you had about her when she was alive, and some criticized you. In a way that people here were criticized any time a head of state, an exhead of state passes away. Did you take any of that criticism to heart, or were you more than happy with what you no, i mean, i sat there in parliament, and i watched we were in opposition by then, and the conservative party attempting to rewrite history. Id lived through that period. My constituents had lived through that period. And it wasnt personal in that sense. I mean, i never met the woman in my life, but her actions had crippled so many peoples lives. So she actually had the audacity to say that there is no such thing as a society. And that enraged me so much. I walked into my closed french windows, and almost broke my nose. Now, maybe my opposition was out of spite, but even so, i was glad. Seth and you this is [ laughter ] [ cheers and applause ] you actually managed you still walked away from acting. Your son did not know that you had been an actor before you were a politician. No. When he was still in his junior school, he came home one day, and he said to me, are you famous . [ laughter ] he did. And i said, well, in a manner of speaking. He said, well, what are you famous for . [ laughter ] isnt that marvelous . Seth and now you have grandchildren. Are they i have one. I have a grandson. Seth alright, is he now aware of your stature . Well, i dont think so really. I mean, what hes most aware of is that im an absolute luddite when it comes to any form of artificial intelligence. Seth oh, gotcha. And i had to get a mobile phone because my landline went down. [ light laughter ] i mean serious, people do only live with only a landline, you know . I was alright making calls, but i couldnt receive the incoming ones. So i said to him, at the ripe old age of 7, would you be good enough to show me how i handle an incoming call . And he looked at me, and he said, ive shown you how to do this. Ive shown you how to do this three times. Im not doing it again. Thats [ laughter ] seth i mean, in his defense, you would think if somebody could do lear, theyd be able to figure out a cell phone. [ light laughter ] well, you put it quite kindly, but it was essentially a very unkind thing to say. [ laughter ] seth i was thrilled to hear this. We have, i believe we share a Favorite Television show. Oh right. Seth is it true that youre a fan of the wire . Oh fantastic. Seth that makes me so happy to hear. Absolutely fantastic. The marvelous acting, and all of those wonderful people in the background. Ill never forget that sight. That shelter, those kids sitting on the sofa in front of the building. Do you . Seth it was amazing. I mean, just marvelous. Seth and, you know, i would argue almost as shakespearean a writing that weve ever seen on television. Absolutely, absolutely. Seth and maybe one day there will be a gender blind production, a stage of the wire, and i just think youd make a great omar. Oh. [ laughter ] seth dont you think . Dont you think . [ cheers and applause ] oh. Seth i mean when you think about it would that i could. Seth when you think about it you come at the king, you best not miss as shakespearian a line as youre going to see on television. Well. Seth i hope one day we can make that happen. Well, you got to work at it. Seth im going to work at it. And what a delight to have you here. Please come back. Id love to. Thank you. Seth thank you so much. Give it up for Glenda Jackson everybody. [ cheers and applause ] king lear begins previews at the cort theater on february 28th with an official opening on april 4th. Yeah, so let me just tell you a little yeah, so we went down to a place called roam ranch in central texas, up in the hill country. Seth okay. Super awesome guys, and i was really excited to learn about the bison, and its a great alternative to beef. Seth im going to have a bite of this chip while youre talking. Yeah, its a little appetizer. Seth i hope its not too loud, but keep going. Hey, go for it. [ crunching ] [ laughter ] and um yeah, and then you know we wanted to i wanted to learn about the meat more, and it ended up kind of being like a side thought, and it really ended up being a bigger episode about, you know, how the worlds food, where it all comes from, soil health, and regenerative Land Management. Seth so bison is better for Land Management than yeah, they dont overgraze as much as cattle. And theyre kind of just the original pioneers of north american soil which is the foundation of basically all food. Seth all right. Was that the first time you tried it, or had you tried bison before that . Ive had it before, and i love it. Seth okay. But yeah, and this is the first animal that theyve harvested down on that ranch. Seth all right, so what do we do here . Were going to do a little here. Ig ot a little bowl for you. Seth okay, great. You know, and seth this ones so much better. [ laughter ] if you want to make some little adjustments seth uhhuh. Alright, here we go. Go ahead, you know, but its such a super lean cut of meat. So i talked to my doctor about humira. I learned humira is for people who still have symptoms of Crohns Disease after trying other medications. And the majority of people on humira saw significant symptom relief and many achieved remission in as little as 4 weeks. Humira can lower your ability to fight infections, including tuberculosis. Serious, sometimes fatal infections and cancers, including lymphoma, have happened; as have blood, liver, and nervous system problems, serious allergic reactions, and new or worsening heart failure. Before treatment, get tested for tb. Tell your doctor if youve been to areas where certain fungal infections are common, and if youve had tb, hepatitis b, are prone to infections, or have flulike symptoms or sores. Dont start humira if you have an infection. Be there for you, and them. Ask your gastroenterologist about humira. With humira, remission is possible.
